Dreams

To fully understand our dreams we must understand where they come from and why. Dream material is a product of the subconcious mind brought about by a change in conciousness.

Our subconcious mind speaks through symbolism, sometimes trying to relay a message to our concious mind. At the same time, a very small percentage of our dream material may be prophetic. Prophetic dreams usually occur only when the soul needs to be prepared for the upcoming event.

Interperting our dreams is not as difficult as it seems. How many hours have you spent trying to decipher the senseless material that your remember upon awakening each morning?

The most important thing to remember when trying to interpret your dreams is that we are all individuals. What we dream is created by our own subconcious. In the word of the eminent psychologist Carl Jung, "No dream symbol can be separated from the individual who dreams it".

Our subconcious mind speaks in a different language. To convey a message to our concious mind, it uses symbols from events in our everday life. This is our Personal Symbolism.

Universal Symbolism is a list of symbols that have remained true throughout the ages. By reading this list you will get the general idea of the interpretation of dream symbols.
