The Swedish visit Sirocco!

swedish&me

These three snowboarding honeys certainly decorated the place nicely! Johan, Staffan and Joakim were a delight and had great practical skills to apply around the place. A pruning and trellising workshop was held at Sirocco on the day the guys left. You can see some of the Canterbury grape growers in the background. We still had Masa and Izumi from Japan staying at the time so the place was a hive of industry preparing for June 17th.

Hiya Johan
Joe, Tom, Cedric and Masa took the old roof off which was already quite an experience. When Canterbury turned on one of its classic clear days it was just right for double skinning the tunnel house. A great day with fabulous results. Thanks guys!

All going to plan according to Staffan I think...

Here's Mayumi persevering in the gentian patch.....always good to have that job done for the year.

Here's Janelle showing how its done with the battery operated pruner....only on loan I'm afraid but she did get some new loppers and secateurs for the pruning job ahead. New toys for my right hand woman.
