| The Story of Morpheus, Lord of Dreams

My story began long ago in Greece atop Mt. Olympus.
I am Morpheus, Lord of Dreams both good and evil, son of Hypnos, God of Sleep, and nephew of Thanatos, God of Death.
I grew up one of thousands of my father's children, left to fend for myself and form my own way of living.
I never felt like I belonged with the other gods.
Olympus was a paradise beyond description, but I was never happy.
I went through

my nightly routine, getting little to no recognition from anyone.
So I decided to leave Olympus for the mortal world.
As I passed through the gates, the Gatekeeper warned me to be careful with my immortal abilities, and not to let on that I could not die.
And to be careful with my body - for although I could not be killed, if anyone were to see me use my regenerative powers, it would certainly mean the
