| Mt. Batulao is located in the province of Nasugbu, Batangas, Philippines. It's elevation is about 811 meters above sea level (asl). |
| The name Batulao means "ilaw sa dalawang bato" (light in between 2 rocks) or "bato sa ilaw" (light in a rock). It is an annual phenomenon that the locals from the town of Balayan observed that between December 22 and 28 of the year the sun nestles right in between the two peaks. |
