Life As A Phoenix By: Sirius Sidekick Chapter 5 Ron sat in the dining room for about another twenty minutes. He kept glancing at the clock. 2:07 PM. 2:10 PM. 2:11 PM. Finally, the water shut off upstairs and the door opened. Hermione walked midway down the stairs in a long towel. She looked around and spotter Remus. "Where's Ron?" Without looking up, he pointed to the dining room, and she walked in to him. He looked up at her with a face of delight. "Done?" She glanced at him sideways. "No, I just came down in a towel just so you could see me, Ron Weasley." She leaned down and kissed him while clutching the towel around her. He remembered the letter. "Thanks!" he said with a grin. He tapped her lightly on the head with the peice of parchment. "Just got here right after you went up." "From Ginny? Wow... That was very fast..." "He's a fast owl," Remus said from in the living room, his eyes fixed on the issure of The Quibbler in his hands. "Thanks, Ron." "I'm gonna take my shower now. I could've been done by now, but no. Somebody had to interrupt my day's plan." "Oh please," she said. He walked up the steps and Hermione followed him. She turned into her room. He turned to go into the bathroom but paused. A thought had just popped into his head. "Shit," he said. Hermione turned around. "What?" she asked. "My clothes are in the bedroom. What am I supposed to wear when I'm done?" "Well, I have this cute little top you can wear. It's pink, and-" "Yeah, very funny." She laughed and said, "Hold on." She disappeared for a moment into her room. She emerged back with her wand in hand. "Alohamora!" she shouted, with her wand pointed at the doorknob. She tried to open the door nbbut it was still locked. "Oh. He must have it charmed." "Yeah, well I can't GO WITHOUT MY CLOTHES!" Ron shouted. The door opened very suddenly and Harry threw an outfit at Ron and slammed, locked, and charmed the door. Ron looked at Hermione and she gave him a "sorry" kind of look. "You know, I could do with a wand also," said Ron. A moment later, Ron's wand slid out of the room from under the door. He picked it up and went into the bathroom to start his shower. Hermione personally found this situation terrible. She felt sorry for Harry, but she knew that what the Order said was for the best. And then she also went back to what Ron had said. "He'll get out of it." And she knew he would. Harry wasn't the type of person to bend over and just take it. But that wasn't a situation like this. This could be saving his life, and he just didn't want to be helped.
