Once Upon A Time, Squid.
by Greenie

Once upon a time in a land so far away
There lived a little squiddle in a house all made of hay
His lover's name was Sirius, who came home every day
To the squiddle in the fish-tank in the house all made of hay.

But one day dearest Sirius came home again from work
Within the mines of Moria where nasty things doth lurk
To find the fish-tank empty, except for muck and murk.
"I should have made the bed," he cried, and felt like such a jerk

"Tiberius," he cried aloud, his voice all filled with woe
For that was little squiddle's name (Ive told you - now you know)
And threw himself upon the floor and let his tears now flow
For the silly little squiddle who had thought he had to go.

"Well then," he cried eventually, "Who cares for him? Not I!"
And with this proclamation he looked up at the sky
For Buckbeak, who in stunning style had been induced to fly
And like a plot development had harkened Siris cry.

"Why, Tiberius has gone away upon a little jape,"
Said Buckbeak to his one true love and nuzzled at the nape
Of Sirius handsome neck. "I think he went with Snape,"
And Sirius was angry then, "Ill kill the bastard ape!"

But squiddle was too far away to be within his reach.
Hed gone to live in Severus Cottage By The Beach
So Sirius told Buckbeak in his assured and flowing speech
That if hed come and stay the night hed teach all he could teach.

Buckbeak nodded happily, the words had made his day
And went inside, with Sirius, the house all made of hay
And made the man forget that squid had ever gone away.
(Meanwhile Tiberius and Snape made sweet love in the spray.)
