Do you Believe in Fate?

(27-August-2002, written by sirius, Copyright ©2002 OpenMindz)

As Einstein once said: "The distinction between past, present and future is only an illusion, however persistent. Time is not at all what it seems. It does not flow in only one direction, and the future exists simultaneously with the past." Our fate co-exists with us at all times. Have you ever noticed saying something only to question yourself afterward, "why did I say that?" It feels like reading the script written for you.

It is my belief that as events unroll, signs appear that show whether you are in the right way. If all signs are negative you should not force a situation as it may just be against your fate. In another way, it is my belief that if you have a fate to meet but for some reason you get mislead and you shift away from it, this has a negative result for you, so let's all hope we are good at distinguishing the signs.

In addition, for me everything occurs for a reason even when you have no clue what this reason is. Let's consider an example scenario: For the last two years I enjoy studying Astronomy at University level and I believe that this relates to a future event although I currently have no clue on what this will be. Maybe because one day I'll find an Astronomy related job. Maybe my knowledge influences my daughter and one day she becomes an Astronomer. One day I may use my stories about the universe to bring my family closer together. As the possibilities are limited only by imagination maybe in 200 years someone says to a child "you once had a great-great grandfather that loved the stars" and this inspires this child to later make a great discovery in the area. Some things you don't have to know, you just have to believe into.
