The Silva Method, a Personal Review

(22-June-2002, written by sirius, Copyright ©2002 OpenMindz)

You might have heard of the Silva Method for mind control and I would like to share with you my thoughts on this. First of all, there is no such real thing as the Silva Method instead there are real capabilities in everybody's brain. The Silva method is one set of techniques that helps uncover these capabilities. It started a few decades ago by Jose Silva, a father that was looking into ways of helping his children improve their performance in school.

The Silva method teaches you the value of a positive stance towards life. By living a life full of positive energy you see yourself getting everyday better and better. Some years ago I placed aside some savings for the quite expensive registration fee to The Silva Method course indicating that the organizers must be indeed getting better and better at least money wise. The Silva Method experience gained in the course was invaluable and the instructors were very good at inspiring the attendees with their sessions on programming your brain with positiveness.

This is not a course of magic despite the fact that some of the areas it covers like healing and extra-sensory perception, seem out of this world for many. Still everyone has hidden in his brain such capabilities but either they don't have a clue about it or they sense something they don't understand and don't know how to use. After the course I have seen myself going through many phases with the Silva Method. My results with the techniques were successful, some periods I was leaving my practicing, then starting it up again, or focusing only on 1 or 2 techniques that seemed important for me. Today, I would say that the Silva Method course is like planting a seed of positiveness that may need some time to grow but eventually leads to miraculous results. All-in-all getting actively involved with the Silva Method was one of the best things I've ever done for my personal development.
