Siri's UNC Experience

"From the time she was young, she would say that her goals were playing at Chapel Hill, playing in the Olympics and playing in the World Cup.  She's played at Chapel Hill, and now she's working on making this Olympic team. A little lucky break here and there, and I think she's got a good shot at it." -Steve Mullinix

Siri was a three year starter at UNC and played in 90 career matches.
She finished her career at UNC with an average of 0.27 goals against per game, which was the second best at UNC.
As a senior, she only allowed seven goals in and had 16 shutouts.  She started all 26 games of the season.  Her goals against per game average was 0.30.
As a junior, she only allowed three goals in and had 12 shutouts.  She helped UNC win the NCAA championship in her hometown.  She played in 26 games and started in 15 of them.  Her goals against per game average was 0.19.
As a sophmore, she only allowed six goals in and had 10 shutouts.  She played in 25 games that season and started 16 of them, including two in the ACC Tournament and four (of the five) in the NCAA Tournament.  Her goals against average per game was 0.38.
As a freshman, she backed up former US Women's National Team goalkeeper Tracy Ducar.  She started in nine of the 13 games that she played in as a freshman and allowed only one goal in.

"It's what I'm good at. You don't really have time to think. You have to stay focused and react quickly. It's the same on breakaways." -Siri on being in goal for shoot-outs

He remembers the hours he spent kicking the ball to her in the back yard, on the trampoline, teaching her to dive and lunge after even the wildest balls. -From News-Recod.com  (he is Steve Mullinix, Siri's dad)
