Welcome to the links page, where I try to infect every visitor to support my favorite sites, bwahaha!  Many of them are useful, and many more are incredibly funny, so please take a look.  Not associated with any of the below sites (except for message board posts).  Note: this area is so not alphabetized.

D&D and other RPGs

Wizards of the Coast

The current publishers of D&D and creators of the D20 systems and numerous card and other games including Magic: the Gathering (now a subsidiary of Hasbero if I recall correctly).  This is a good starting place if you are looking for information of your favorite Wizard's (or many old TSR) games.  There are sections for each of the current games with all sorts of extras and information, product listings, archived information from the olden days of the games, errata for various publications, forums, and even free downloads of old game supplements and adventures.  If you don't immediately see what you're looking for the search feature will usually find it, the trick is wading thru the other stuff it also found.

RoleplayMarket.com

A great site for Play by Post games that claims to support any RPG system created.  There are a number of great built-in GM/game tools such as secure dice rollers to make the game that much easier to use.  There are also general community forums and game listings for all games as well as those looking for more players.  The site is still in open beta so there are occasional glitches.  Best of all, it's free!

Plothook.net

Another PbP site, I haven't used this one.  Appears to be fairly busy and organized, but consists of a standard forum and online character sheets for the games.  No dice rollers, etc that I could see.  Again, no charge.

Myth-Weavers

A PbP site consisting mainly of forums, but with a few RPG tools primarily for GMs (only character sheets for players ;)  ).  A bit confusing to find your way around and use the first few times.

EverQuest Live                                                               (aka EverQuest 1- a Sony Online Entertainment game):

EverquestLive

The official Everquest site.

AllaKhazam's Magical Realm

A great source for information of all kinds about the world of Norrath.

Casters' Realm

Another great general site about Everquest, has an EXCELLENT section on starting a character and class advice.

EQ Traders Corner

THE definitive site for EQ tradeskills (making things in the game).

Wikipedia- EQ

Included solely because it's existence amuses the blazes out of me.

EverQuest 2                                                   (an alternative storyline for Norrath- a Sony Online Entertainment game):

EverQuest 2

The official Everquest site.

EverQuest 2 at GamePressure.com

EverQuest 2 zone maps and quest guides.  The maps are especially useful for those without in-game maps, but many smaller quests are missing from the guide (help them out by submitting write-ups *grin*).

EQ2 Guru

An database containing a decent listing of equipment and a fairly worthless quest database.

EQ2 Interface

An excellent site for EQ2 related downloads.  In-game maps, player-made user interfaces, etc. can be found here.

EQ2 Traders Corner

THE definitive site for EQ2 tradeskills (making things in the game).  Also run by the Denmother and her tame ogre Ngreth.

Wikipedia- EQ2

See reason given above.

General Game Sites

Stratistics

A great news and guide site for most of the major MMORPG's.

OGaming Network

A huge database of information and forums for many of the major games (parts of with often need updated- poke them with a stick if you find something wrong!).  The sections for the various games are generally maintained by different people, making the style and usefulness vary within the network.  It should be noted that they have an online radio with many shows that discuss games in particular, gaming in general, and anything else that might come up.  Again, broadcasts vary depending on the DJ's hosting.

WarCry

A multigame site with a large number of affiliate sites covering many games.  The news section is the most useful section (to me).

Gaming Comics

GU Comics

Safe for the whole family usually.  A varied look at the games industry, gaming news, and occasionally the games themselves.  Originally it was an EverQuest 1 comic, hence the name (/gu was the command to speak in the guild channel...).

PvPOnline

Generally about a PG-PG-13 rating (IMO) because of occasional cartoon, but graphic violence, foul language, bathroom humor and suggestive/mature themes.  Let your parents take a look at this first if you aren't old enough to drive.  A pretty amusing that follows the writers/workers/owners of the fictional PvP gaming magazine.

CTR+ALT+DEL

PG-13 overall, with occasional forays into a PG rating and much more frequent R comics.  Lesee...   Foul language, periodically extremely graphic violence, suugestive/mature themes.  When he's funny, Tim is hilarious.  When he's violent, well, ick.  Tip for the squeamish (like myself), if you see blood and/or bone immediately upon opening the page, close it, quickly.  The comic covers all sorts of games, plus the (ab)normal lives of ultimate gamer Ethan, his recently-turned-pro-gamer fiancee Lilah, slightly saner gamer Lucas, Ezekiel the android Ethan built from an X-box, and occasionally Scott the most mysterious member of the household.

WTF Comics

Generally G to PG.  Safe for anyone already entering their teens (or as safe as they're likely to get).  A very well written EverQuest comic detailing the ongoing saga of Straha the grumpy iksar (lizardman) warrior, Anna the naive fier'dal (wood elf) druid, Smoke the mysterious and smart alec human monk, and their companions.  Also including real live gnome monks (this was funnier before EQ2, trust me)!

Order of the Stick

Safe for the whole family (even the devil-girlfriend and Belkar), well over age five at least.  Think a D&D game, from the inside.  The ongoing story of the noble adventurers the Order of the Stick: Roy the warrior and ever-aggravated leader, Haley the rogue with a heart of gold (someone else's of course), Elan the bard who needs to invest more points in Wisdom and maybe Intelligence, Belkar the ranger/berserker who seems to view Chaotic Evil as the only fun way of life, Vaarsuvius the androgynous elven wizard, and Durkon the exiled dwarven cleric of Thor stuck patching them back together.

More to come...
