The Agony..........

Day10...

Called up various workshop but they came up with some gibberish remarks which made me lose interest in sending my car there... Then  my friend Eugene called me up and suggested a workshop in Puchong which he regularly sends his car there, infact,, the mechanic is somewhat like his buddy. The problem is, I personally have some problems with that mechanic, I find him extreme egotistical and slightly psychotic.. but then again I haven't got much of a choice...

Day 11...

Jeffery, my brother in-law and I gathered at my house and began our journey to that workshop. I fired the engine and only to be greeted by that noisy garbage truck like sound.. god damn!.. sigh.. I drove it out to the drive way. and continued on at a mere 40km/h..

My bro-in-law seemed abit surprised and asked me what the heck I was doing.. I told him that I was afraid that the engine might blow... He laughed . .and told me to step on it.. I hesitated at first.. but what the heck.. I stepped on it anyways.. .Suddenly... the car rose like a beast rising from the ground like a maiden recovering from a low curtsy... Holy Fuck! the G-Force was like never felt before from my car.. and when I eased off the gas... Prrr.. shh.. shh.. shh. the Blitz blow off valve does its job... we looked at each others face.. and began laughing like hell.. and we sped all the way there.. tearing down the horizon like kids with new toys...

Apparently, my bro in-law told me that, only the gaskets were leaking.. and the rest were ok,,, and the MF2 is still inactive and needs further setting.. and my bro in-law tore all the way up from Johore to KL in just about 2 hrs.. bloody hell..

Finally, we reached the workshop.. that egotistical maniac came and have a look at it... and left it for his partner to do the rest.. while that guy was perusing my conversion.. there were a couple of doggy assed motherfuckers (that workshop's customer) who so happened to be there who think that they are all technical guru beginning to talk craps about the conversion..  which nearly pissed me off .. but Jeffrey cooled me down.. and I resume my sanity.. only to be awaken to a pricey quotation of RM4000.00 to get the job done.. and it will take a month... Deep down in my heart.. I know these people wants to rip me off.. deep down inside.. all the profanities that I've ever learned and came across was all thrown out in a mere 0.1 micro second..

I told them I'll think about it.. and thanked my friend who was there at that time... thanked the egotistical maniac's partner.. and drove off..  heh.. Hasta-lavista motherfuckers...

Reached home.. despaired.. and down in spirits.. I'm still screwed.. then my dad walked over and said.. Oi!! the hell r u doing? go give Keong a call.. I'm sure he can clean this mess up.. after all.. it's just some leakage and just some touching up will do....   - Keong has been a mechanic for my family since I wasn't even born yet!!!! heheh..

It just hit me.. Keong did tell me he doesn't have the ability to turbocharge my car. but he told me that if things were go awry.. he can patch it up for me.. as long as the piping and turbo is in and the wiring system isn't screwed up...  I called him up.. and he said he'll be here tomorrow... - Keong usually comes up to my place to fix my car....  House - Calls.. hehehe

Day12..

2.30pm, Keong arrives, checked it out for 30mins.. and does his trademark acknowledgement expression.. " MMPPHH!!" small matter only... I'll get the proper parts and stuffs and will get it done by tomorrow... FINAL-FUCKING-LY!!!! I SIGHED IN RELIEF !!! and he began working on my car....

By the end of the day.. the turbo was taken out.. so was the down pipe and the extractors...

Day13...

He serviced most of the parts... and changed the gaskets.. those stupid ass did not place the proper gaskets and did not skim the fabricated surfaces, that's why there were leakage... Keong got it all done up. and placed everything back in order... tuned it up .. double checked everything...

Finally, the moment of truth came... I was in the driver seat... Keong asked me to fire it up.. At the turn of the key.. The engine started at the first crank... it was like... music... no more garbage truck look alike....... he let it warm up abit...and rev it up alittle... VROMM.....PRRR...CSSHH..SHH.....

Smiles were coming from all parties... me, Jeff, keong, my bro in-law.. and my dad.. hehehe..

Drove it out to the driveway.... slowly..and carefully... below 3000rpm.. the car sucked.. it sucks because I was used to the low 1,600rpm torque my S/C used to offer.... but once it hits 4,500 rpm... it just tears down the road and it just hits 7000rpm in a flash.. the torque was really tremendous if compared to the supercharged days... but I was still getting only a mere 0.8bar boost because the damn MF2 wasn't set up correctly yet... Paid Keong his charges... his charged me a mere RM130.00.... I paid him RM150.00

1 week later..

Fooled around with the damn MF2, and got it working.. apparently, all the wiring was done up.. only the pressure gauge planted in the inlet manifold wasn't set at the correct pressure. I set it to begin pumping in extra fuel at 0.7psi and above... and I installed a simple boost controller in it.. and I was on my way on a 1.2bar of boost... ;)

and the rest was ...
