The Dance

He see's her standing there across the dance floor
Shapely curves and glowing hair
He watches the way she moves while listening to the beat
Suddenly this is a girl he must meet
Nervously and shyly  he moves in
Scared of placing his heart on the line again
Slowly he manages to get up the nerve
Hoping this girl a dance will serve
He goes up and asks her to dance
Knowing once again his heart doth take the chance
Slowly he reaaches for her hand
This is the way he makes his stand
She looks at him and smiles
Taking his hand in hers all the while
Bringing across his face the shyest of smiles
The song it plays on a beautiful balad of the sweetest tune
They stride on  out onto the floor within the room
Slowly they dance as the song doth enter the mans own heart
Soon there after his voice it doth start
To sing along with the melody
She looks up into his eyes and doth see
Then man who doth try to serenade the lady
At the site of the girl things within him start to show
As the warmth within his soul doth grow
He holds her close taking in her scent
Her heart beat he doth feel
Still this doth not feel to be real
Then with her scent freshly within his mind
The song it doth unwind
Then this song doth end
As he finds this girl truly tis a dream again
