7/7/04- Wow. And I thought my xanga was bad. It's a good thing websites don't collect dust... or mold... cause this thing'd be a health hazard. Well, I barely made it before it's been a full year since my last update. Close, but still I had 22 more days. Well, this is an update of an old piccy I had laying around my computer but never bothered coloring until ::cough:: last October:::cough:: Now that's it's July, I think it's an appropriate time to present the hula girl! I remember drawing this at one of our get-togethers last summer... i can't remember which one. oh well Also, I don't think I'm going to be able to finish that one group picture of everyone... one, I can't find it, and two the uh---relationships I illustrated are not accurate, and if i erase anymore, the page will rip. I'm serious. However, since I can already see Brittany's face upon hearing this, I will try to post it on here and on our old band dorks page as is, just to have the memories. I'll label everyone, even those who are still stick figures.   7/29/03- floatingryukanojo.jpg Ahh, finally something in my own personal colors... Black and purple! You can't tell from my site design, but I love purple and black! (sarcasm, people). Well, enjoy it. The original was shaded with pencil, so that's probably why it looks kinda weird.

Hula- I am proud of A) her face, which is rare. Usually I consider my faces horrible, and B) the cool ocean effect I did in photoshop! haha I don't even remember how I did it!

Floating Winged Girl- The color scheme was up in the air for a while... I even employed my friends's opinions... green or purple dress? I eventually settled on purple... but can you imagine green on her? It was a hard decision.

MT Kimono- A MegaTokyo Style-based art work... well at least in the face. And, it marks my first fully successful displacement map art. Her kimono seems to wrap around her, and it's so pretty!! Yay

schala.jpg- Schala was my very first "favorite", because Chrono Trigger was the first RPG I ever played. So, I love the game to pieces, and I also love her to pieces. In this, she seems terribly frightened of something. Perhaps her mother? The prophet? Or even Lavos...

sweater.jpg- This girl is hiding in her purple sweater from something.. is it the world?.. you?.. herself?... Perhaps she herself does not know.

magicast.jpg- This is a picture of a blonde girl who is casting a magic spell. And man, it is hard to draw magic! Actually, I'm not very satisfied with the magic.. but green is just the right color for her! I drew her in my Sophomore (or summer afterwards) year so she's a sort of old but still good, yo!

priestess.jpg- I drew this for Adam when he graduated from Heald last January (2003) when he asked me to draw it the summer before. :P I finally drew it, adam! I gave him the original original, which'll be worth a lot of money in a few years (maybe $0.50... nah. too much) I added a little color, nothing too fancy, but it still looks decent.

queenmary.jpg- Inspired by the windy aft of the Hotel/Attraction The Queen Mary, the old WWII warship. You all know what a sucker I am for wind.... so I HAD to draw this ^_^. I like how I drew the background. I'm really proud of it! hehe!

uphair.jpg- I drew this on a band trip somewhere... I think it was back in marching season and I just recently colored it (4/7/03). I love her hair.. I wish I could do my hair like that! ::shoos away rats looking for a home in her hair:: I was having fun and let my brother choose all the colors for her originally... which I will never make the mistake of again. All of the colors were changed, to protect those with eyes.

greendress.jpg- The base image for my new title page. I tried a few new coloring techniques on her and it turned out pretty good. The hair design I borrowed from PolyKarbon.com, a great place for manga and photoshop tutorials.

caption.jpg- This title image which I made a long time ago eventually made me cringe to look at... so I took it off. Now I have a sexier, eviler splash girl... and one that is better drawn and colored, too! Not that this one is bad, just that it's well... ghetto seems to be the word I'm looking for ^_^

ninja.jpg- A ninja, sword in hand, stands on the edge of a cliff, seemingly contemplating a watery grave, while watching the night sky, a wind ruffling his scarf.

Close- A close-up drawing of which I drew a long time ago, but decided to color it. its perty. I love how the eyes came out. I should do eyes like that more often.

Wings- mmmm.... puurple ::drool:: I love the bubbles,, though I may have over done it ^_^ I never leave myself enough room for wings in my drawings so I made up for it and made the wings the most important in the drawing! Never mind the naked chic their attached to hehehe...

Alley Girl- I just slapped a background of an alleyway behind her... she looked like she's be good to put in an alley. Not because she looks like a prostitute, just because. So There. Props to my friend Vanessa for the clothes. and expression.

Jester- Purples of different shades, and a cute hat. Little bells and ribbons. It's got to be a harlequin!

Emeralda- Aww... isn't she pretty?? I love Emeralda... almost as much an Nina from breath of fire 2. She's the everlasting union of the contact and the anti-type... humanity's last hope. The single wings from Kim and Elly combined together to fly... The girl of the dawn... with eyes of blue... and angel wings.... aww Oh, I get it! Fei's Kim!

Ishabu!- Ishabu is all that needs to be said. Please note how the words of the paper we drew him on are still there. It's from my Japanese class at Ohlone. Think of it as a design feature. Also, this picture was completed in the wee hours of midday... so therefore... blah blah... we were high... etc. All this started with comparing notes on drawing with Arif. And it snowballed into Ishabu... *ding*

dragongirl.jpg- A blue-haired woman approaches a dragon glyph on the wall... and her touch induces a reaction that fills the room... wow, that souded cool, I'm getting good at this...

sisters.jpg- I love this one... it took me forever, so you'd better like it! :P It's a picture of Mina Windia pleading for the help of her stronger, older sister. It's only a pencil sketch... so no colors or cool lighting effects, but I'm still very proud of it. *UPDATE 3/14/03- ninamina_final.jpg It's now in color! Magic! Courtesy of Joel's sister (high five), I got off my lazy ass and colored it. ^_^ I realize I got Mina's colors all wrong but I didn't have a picture of her in the right colors to base it off of, like i did for Nina. hehe enjoy!

angel.jpg- Pretty angel... I conviently cut it off, didn't I?

girl-castle.jpg- A night-time setting... at the foot of a castle...all alone in a skimpy dress.... pretty smart, eh?

talia.jpg is a picture I drew for, guess who, Talia. It has a few alterations from the original gril-castle, such as she's less of a hoochie. ^_^

jared.jpg- I drew this for my brother's friend jared... to cheer him up during his boot camp. He specifically asked for bald!

jaro.jpg- actually, I didn't draw this one... but I did color it! If the author wants me to take it off, go ahead and ask me and I'll be much abliged to.

reborn.jpg- I drew this for Mieu-san for her birthday... I'm not even sure if she's seen it... but I did send it to the ML...

sitsmile.jpg- This was my first attempt at displacement... It sort-of works... but the pattern is a little to bright, I think... oh well!
