Aromatherapy
Definition: Aromatherapy
is the use of plants and their extracts to utilise their healing
properties for the mind and body. It is used in many ways, including
massage, inhalation, bathing, oil burning and compresses.
Essential oils are
blended individually for the client taking into consideration
their current well-being and are able to treat a number of ailments.
A full consultation is necessary before any treatment can commence
for the health and safety of the client. The oils are applied
through therapeutic lymphatic drainage therapy and full after-care
advice is given in order for the client to fully benefit.
