"Please be alright, please." She pleaded to the almighty ones, her voice echoing through the dark ancient church. She stopped praying, and got up, suddenly feeling uneasy.
That's when she heard a sound.
(Clop!)
What was that?
(Clop!)
She turned around, her eyes searching with vigilance. The place was empty. The sound had sounded like someone's foot steps. No one really came into this church, she wondered who could it be.

The young girl shuddered at the sound. She turned back round to see a young man with spiky blonde hair wearing a dark navy blue suit. Aeris recognised his suit as a Turk and frowned, fear beginning to leak into her body. "What do you want?!" she exclaimed. She was getting tired of this.
"You're coming with me ancient."
The young man pulled out a silver pistol from his immaculate jacket. The girl didn't move.
"What would be the point of shooting me dead? I wont be useful to Shinra's twisted experiments."
"My orders were to capture the last remaining ancient. Alive. But I will seriously wound you if you try to escape. So be a good girl and co-operate."
There was a long silence.
"Now, let's go." He glared at the girl in front coldly.
"You'll have to shoot me before I go anywhere with you," Aeris said calmly. Inside, she was scared to death, but she'd learnt how to put on a calm act. Anyway, she knew that the young man wouldn't shoot her. He just couldn't.
The boy's brow creased. And suddenly a loud bang broke out and Aeris jumped.
There was a small hole in the ground, smoke coming out from it. He pointed his gun back at Aeris.
"That's what will happen to your head if you don't co-operate with me- now."
The startled Aeris just stared at the young man for a moment then blinked her emerald green eyes a couple of times, her heart hammering in her chest. No matter how many times she'd heard gun shots, she didn't think she could ever get used to them even though someone committed crime in the Midgar slums every, single, day. Oh...man... Her eyes lowered to the ground and she stood still.
"Hm, that's what I thought." The youth walked up to the altar and grabbed the girl's arm tightly then roughly shoved her forwards. Aeris buckled, then fell to the ground but got up quickly, her back to the young Turk.
"Now walk," said the Turk, pointing his pistol to her back."
Oh Man. I hate Shinra, Aeris thought, but she walked a few steps with wobbly knees then stopped.
She hated Shinra alright.
She twisted around, a move which took the Turk by surprise, and tried to land a blow on his chest, but she wasn't quick enough. The Turk managed to dodge her feeble attempt.
He pulled the trigger.
But the gun only clicked. Shit! I forgot to reload it after yesterday!
Aeris took her chance and bolted, running as fast she could down the church and the Turk ran after her. He threw his empty gun like a boomerang at her head at a terrifying speed. It came around then hit her forehead with vigorous force making her black out instantly and collapse. The Turk reached her and caught her just before she fell. Then he gently laid the limp body down on the stone ground and kneeled down beside her. He checked her breathing. It was alright enough. He hesitated, looking her over for a moment, staring at her sleeping face. Ooh, that must've hurt. "Sorry, didn't mean it that hard," he whispered in her ear with no sympathy. Then he lifted her up, and carried the flaccid body out of the church.
