| A FIREFIGHTER GOES
A firefighter goes, To places where others flee, Into the flames he seeks, The slightest noise or peep, To find someone alive, Just trying to survive, A chance to save someone from fate, Before its too late. When the thick smoke flows, And a firefighter goes, He never knows the score till then, Or the danger that lurks within, To tame the flame and all its rage, Is all in a days meager wage. When a firefighter goes, He travels through rain, sleet, and snows, When the days heat is high, Or on a cold and frozen night, Whenever an alarm sounds no matter where, A firefighter will soon be there.
