Metal Sabre reaches back and draws his beautifully crafted longsword. The weapon is quite large; the blade is substantially long, and also roughly six or seven inches in width. It appears quite heavy, but oddly, Metal Sabre wields the weapon as though it weighed nothing more than a small dagger. Obviously there is a bit more to the weapon than meets the eye. The Knight draws the sword back a bit, as he edges toward Teague, studying his opponent intently. Without warning, the longsword shoots forward, zeroing in on Teague's chest. While the aim is precise, the attack is not at full force, for the Azure Knight merely wishes to provoke a reaction from his opponent, and gauge the abilities of him.
Teague stands ready for the Knight's first attack and keeps his grey eyes fixed on him as the Azure Knight draws his weapon from its sheath. Dropping the otherwise peaceful demeanor that he normally maintains, the drow grins and remains still as Metal Sabre draws closer to strike him. For a time, it seems as if the blade will pierce Teague's bare chest but, at the last moment, he moves out of the sword's trajectory, avoiding the fatal wound and merely allowing it to graze the flesh protecting his ribs. Not caring much for the blood which drips slowly down his side, the vampire waves his hands quickly, beckoning forth thick green and brown vines which coil around the human's body and slowly tighten, threatening to crush his bones. Adding to this threat, the vampire leaps into the air as a ball of flame forms in his hands and slowly increases in size as he gains altitude. Once he's above the tree tops, Teague smirks widely and flies downward, quickly tossing the icy blue sphere at his opponent before increasing the distance between them.
Metal Sabre reacts quickly to the vines as they try to wrap themselves around his body and squeeze the life from him. His longsword swings quickly and accurately, severing the vines as quickly as he can. Just as it seems the Azure Knight has removed himself from peril by destroying the majority of the vines, he notices the large, blue sphere of flame hurdling toward him with deadly speed. Metal Sabre quickly leaps to his right, grabbing a fairly low tree branch to help swing him out of harm's way. The young Knight follows through with the momentum, swinging around until his feet land gracefully on a thicker part of the branch, barely avoiding the flaming sphere in time. Metal Sabre now shifts his focus to Teague, he leaps from the branch with his powerful legs, giving his longsword a swing horizontally as he nears the vampiric drow. The speed of his attack was seemingly able to overcome Teague's defenses the first time; the Azure Knight hopes it shall do the same the second.
Teague hovers quietly, admiring the skill with which his foe frees himself from the restraints attempted to slowly crushing him. Seeing that the male has avoided the fiery attack thrown at him, Teague readies himself for the second strike and keeps his gaze focused on the knight as Metal Sabre gets closer to where he is. Caught off guard by the sudden leap and the height that the human is able to achieve, the vampire quickly draws in a breath, avoiding the otherwise fatal strike and smirking as the blade causes no more then a shallow cut along his torso. Knowing that the wounds will heal on their own and are nothing to concern himself with, the drow sneers and ascends, quickly disappearing over the treetops to prepare for another attack. Speaking quickly under his breath, the druid recites a quick spell to awaken the trees, asking them to aid him in his fight against the young man. Returning to the forest floor as the branches stretch out, Teague grins as they grab at Metal Sabre's limbs and pull him in opposite directions to leave him vulnerable. This time, the drowish vampire surrounds his arms with fire and glances darkly at his target as he flies forward, aiming to punch through Metal Sabre's stomach and burn his insides.
Metal Sabre grumbles slightly as he is once again thrwarted by the very forest around him. Muscles tighten in his arms and legs as he pulls against his binding; but it is to no avail. Realizing he can not force his way out, he instead bends his right wrist to position his longsword to free his left arm. As he attempts to slice through the branches imprisoning him, Metal Sabre watches as Teague's hands ignite with flame. A few drops of sweat trail down from the Knight's forehead, as he continues to attempt to free his left arm. After what seemed like an eternity to the young Knight, the arm is freed, just as the drow begins to soar forward. Metal Sabre reacts with the speed of lightning, quickly reaching down to his waist. In a flash he pulls a dagger from its sheath and flings it toward his opponent. The dagger is aimed to burrow itself into Teague's head, but the Knight's true intention is to force his opponent to go off course, and save the Knight from a fiery end; not to mention enable him the time to free the rest of his body.
Teague grins wider as he draws closer to his target who even now is attempting to get free from his bonds once more. Quickly halted by the sight of the dagger which is extracted from a sheath at Metal Sabre's side, the drow moves quickly to avoid the blade which was intended to pierce his skull. As the metal sinks into his flesh and causes another stream of blood to wind down his body slowly, Teague descends to the ground a short distance from his still captive opponent to decide on what he will do next. Coaxing the flames from his arms and molding them into a sphere which floats in the air, the drow taps it several times, calling forth a differently colored ball of flame each time it's struck. With four equal sized orbs of fire now hovering in front of him, Teague sends them all flying forward in unison with the intention of striking the knight and causing a different effect with each that manages to make contact.
Metal Sabre not-so-gracefully manages to toss his longsword from his right hand to his left, using it to quickly free him from his bonds. He assumes a defensive fighting stance, as he sees the four orbs hovering about Teague. The drow commands the flaming spheres to attack, and they do so. Watching the orbs obey Teague's commands, Metal Sabre sheathes his longsword and lurches forward, safely traveling through the open space in the center of the four orbs. The Knight sprints on, the spheres in hot pursuit. The Knight looks toward Teague, and begins vaulting toward the drow himself. Metal Sabre nears the vampiric being, looking as if he is going to collide right into Teague. At the last moment, the Azure Knight tucks and somersaults quickly out of the way, hoping that the orbs managed to follow him closely enough that they run the risk of hitting Teague, due to the young Knight being in such close range of the drow.
Teague crosses his arms and smiles slightly as Metal_Sabre frees himself from the branches that had kept him secured to one spot before now. Not expecting the knight to move through the center of the spheres which are attempting to strike him, Teague moves back as the azure knight charges toward him as if to strike. Caught off guard by the sudden movements of the human as he rolls to the side, Teague is left with no other options but crossing his arms in an 'x' as the orbs that were relentlessly chasing their target slam into his body and char his wrists and arms while forcing him back despite his best efforts to remain motionless. As the last of the flames dies away, the drow waves his wounded arms to show that the duel is over and quickly regains his peaceful demeanor while focusing on healing the damage done to him.
Metal Sabre halts the momentum of his roll, his eyes focusing on Teague with a bit of concern.
Metal Sabre says [to Teague] : You all right, Teague?
Teague looks at his arms as the burnt flesh quickly smooths itself out as a result of his enhanced healing capabilities. As the final bit of charred skin returns to its original state, the drow flexes and grins to Metal Sabre.
Teague says [to Metal Sabre] : Of course. It'll take more then a few burns to stop me.
Metal Sabre says [to Teague] : *nods* So it seems.
