When I returned to a Gorean Lifestyle after so many
years away from it I quickly became disillusioned by
all of the pretenders and so called authorities that karen and I met who thought their idea
of Gor was the only path
The Gor I knew from so many years ago had changed and
it was no improvement.
So called "Citizens" of Cities who seemed to
make their own rules as they went along to suit their needs
"Masters" who could quote you a passage from the only book
they read and thought it the only true path.
slaves and scribes of lower casts who were the real control of a City
not the so called
Council Leaders and City Administrators
My FC and I were recruited to join a City
This City wanted Us so badly they offered Me First Sword to the City and
Karen FC Status as
My Companion if We would join them
All went well until My Karen found a wonderful kajira for Her Warrior
I brought this kajira into the City and kolared her properly with My
Karen,
the City Administrator and several High Council members as witnesses
I was told that My kajira would be trained by the
Cities Trainer of kajira
This Trainer and only this Trainer would have control of her Training
and decide her progress and Silk Color she had attained
I as First Sword Objected to this Training and tried
to change some of the Cities
Rules regarding a Master's rights with His property and His Rights
within His own House
Things began to sour when some on the High Council did not like Their First
Sword, High Council Member and
Second to the Administrator questioning the legality of the rules of
this City against Gorean Law
Seems I knew a lot more about Gorean Custom and Law then the City
Founders did
As far as the City Administration was concerned My
kajira was to be loyal to
the City first and her Master second I strongly disagreed with this
informing
them that to interfere with a Master's rights to His property was
against Gorean Law
There was much gnashing of teeth and research done and
I got a few things changed
Some on the High Council were not amused
Seems they expected their First Sword and His FC to kowtow to them as
the rest of the City had
They chose the wrong First Sword!
Then the Trainer of kajira who was also on the High Counsel
and one of the City Founders
discovered just how valuable My kajira was
The City Administrator and two Council Members decided
that My kajira was being mistreated
because I made her follow Gorean Law not the City's Rules
They then decided to take advantage of their First Sword being gone for
a few days
They
attempted to take that property from Me by illegally breaking the kolar
on My kajira
then restricting My kajira from
contact with her True Master
They also decided that both I and My FC were
undesirable Citizens
and a threat to them and banned both of Us from the City
then placed both Karen and Me on ignore by ALL members of that City by
Administrative Decree
I returned to Moove to find a e-mail with made up
charges against Karen and Me and informed
that My kajira was taken from Me and both Karen and I were banned from
the City
ALL done via a e-mail without one single face to
face meeting
No chance to confront these illegal charges
No opportunity for Karen and I to defend Ourselves
They feared facing their "First Sword" or His FC
Did it ALL behind Our backs
Then made sure We could not fight it by placing Us Both on Ignore so no
contact with them was possible
Their actions caused much pain and confusion with My
kajira
They told her she must accept another's kolar
That "other" was one of the Council Members who's lover
happened to be the Head Trainer
The entire scheme was to have My kajira for their own
My kajira saw through their lies, ignored their
warnings and returned to her rightful Master
begging to have her kolar returned to her pretty neck
I did so happily
The City still exists or a ghost of it does
None of the High Council are any longer in the City
The Founders............. The City Administrator is long gone
The Head Trainer and her Council Member lover left for Second Life
No Gorean City can long survive on lies and deceit
The girl has since left Gor and D/s altogether
I removed her kolar and she is now a free woman
She is still most welcome in My House
She calls Karen and I Dad and Mom not Master and Mistress
She was a good kajira. She is now a good friend and daughter.

I have decided that
We would continue to live the values and traditions that made Gorean
life so attractive to Us but bring it into the 21st century living it as
We would in real life
Our Homestone is Now not a
City but Our Own LVS House
On Earth a Man's Home is His
Castle
On Gor a Man's Home is His Personal Homestone
The Books of John Norman say that a Gorean Man
is Ubar in His own House

That is enough
My FC and I have aligned Our
LVS Homestone
with that of people We like and trust
Shanna's City of Tharna
Some who think them selves "True Goreans"
may look upon Us
with distaste and even scorn.
We do not care
We take from
Gorean life what works in the 21st Century and discard
what those
"True Goreans" still think is the only path to follow.
I suggest to them that they read ALL of the books in the Gor series they
say they follow
and not the few that are following. If they did they
would discover that Gor is indeed a
wondrous world filled with diversity
of thought, behavior and expectations of dress and
attitude towards what
IS and IS NOT correct thought and behavior
