Additional information: Liberator Class Cruiser is designed specificaly for planetary assaults. 8 of outer hull "bulbs" are actualy dropships, used to deliver troops and assault vehecles to the surface of planet. To use those dropships, ships shields must be dropped. Also, since half of ships weaponry are mounted on top of these dropships, if dropshisp launch, only half of ships weapons are avaliable. In same time, weapons on dropships are feed from ships main reactors, so they can not be operated from dropships. To launch dropshisp it take 2 posts - in first post, ship lovers its shields, and in second post dropshisp de-tach and head for planet, using their own engines. In third post, ships commanding officer may rise shields again, but he have only half of ships weapons at his disposal. When troops are landed, dropships can return to their mothership, using hte same procedure (Shields lovered, next post dropships are attached, and in third post shields can be rised, this time all of ships weapons are functional.)
