Darkness, shadows, silence, All concealing what is in the night. Look deeper, penetrate the darkness And see what lurks in the heart. A sight beyond reality lurks there, A sight many fear, A dragon in full glory stands, Waiting to be heard. Many fight it, fearing the unknown, Knowing not what they do. The dragon does not fight, Wisdom guiding its thoughts. Death comes to the dragon, Yet it lives still in the heart, Which will never forget What it felt when the dragon was there |

Wisdom in winds are dragons, and work in their heart their own, and walking the footsteps of the sky, is the way to their throne, the paths of the heavens are opened, and the ways of eternity fly, and in your heart, when you were searching, did you think to try, Flying as a dragon? Wandering all time, beyond the stars, and within a rhyme... Behold a dragon, both bright and true, lives in all hearts, yes, inside of you. |

As I glide through the sapphire skies, The wind racing over my wings And calling to my blood to join the storm, I think of all the joys of being myself, A dragon spearing the sky with her light. And I laugh, as I think of the mere mortals Who pretend to be the wisest life. Never have they seen past the mirror, In which, they fancy, they are shown their greatness. In truth, it is but a false image, Hiding from their eyes reality. They look to see the truth, but are blinded By the brightness of their own reflection. Never have the dragons been this way-- We know our mortality as we ride the storm, Calling on the lightning in deadly challenge. We know our pettiness when we see The light of Truth and Nobility before us. We know that our light shall not be eternal; And knowing this, we ride the storm away. |
