To me, love is..

understanding, respect, honesty

it is loyalty

it is that warm fuzzy feeling -

the butterflies in my stomach

it means accepting someone for who they are

and understanding all of them, even their shortcomings.

To me, love is..

happy, sad, rewarding

it is being able to stick together

it is standing side by side through the good and the bad -

the happy and the sad

it means being able to give space when space is needed

and knowing when to stand strong.

To me, love is..

eternal, everlasting, forever

it never goes away

it is there for life, whether you are together or apart -

the pains of being away and the joys of comfort together

it means knowing that you have someone there always

and appreciating everything that they are and can be.
