emotions swarm

through my body

thoughts swirl

within my mind

confusion

becomes my reality

lost somewhere in between

trapped beneath myself

my breath weakens

my pulse races

my body shakes

I have no one to blame

but myself

I set no boundaries

defined no lines

just exploded

like a bomb

when you got too close

 

your face faded

from happiness to sadness

full of hurt

tears of confusion

streamed down your face

trying to understand

what went wrong

you were just as lost as me

no help to each other

two souls wandering

through a darkened night

once on the same path

now separated

searching for something

anything within reach

to make the wrong right
