| every night, i close my eyes and i dream of you and i i dream of being in your arms and a warmth washes over me i hear your voice speaking ever so softly to me and a smile spreads slowly across my face i feel your lips pressing gently against mine and butterflies flutter in my stomach i gaze into your big blue eyes and listen to you whisper in my ear to not be afraid because you weren't out to hurt me and in this dream i grabbed ahold of you and held on as tightly as possible i never wanted to let go i felt safe and secure the world could have come at me but nothing would've hurt me and when i awoke there was a warmth about me a smile on my face a calm not only in my mind but resting deep within my heart 6/11/01 |
