my head spun

my heart ached

my stomach turned

my body burned

 

my face was flushed

my skin was moist

my mouth trembled

my eyes filled with tears

 

at the thought of you leaving

of not having you close

of not knowing you're near me

 

my very existence

would be destroyed

altered forever

a piece of me would die

 

incomplete

broken

severed

lost

 

is how i would feel

if you walked away

and left me behind
