sometimes i feel so incomplete

without you by my side

without your touch

without your scent

sometimes i hide my emotions

the way that i love you

the way that i need you

the way that i want you

 

i have this fear that someday

you won't be in my life

not anywhere near me

and i would break

i would crumble

a million tiny pieces

never to be reunited

splintered, torn, tattered

 

fate brought us here

love kept us together

and i wonder every day

are our souls strong enough

to keep us as one

to hold on forever

to make you a part of me

and me a part of you
