JoeJoe and I met over the internet and became fast friends both enjoying many of the same things. I told Joe that it would be neat if we got to meet in person so he planned a vacation to Texas. We planned on going to the zoo, museums,and me taking him around to see the sites. Well, Murphy's Law prevailed. My truck's alternator went out so we ended up home bound and Joe walked me to work when I had to go open up my computer store. We had fun anyhow. We stayed at home and played LAN games,watched LOTR extended versions, and went to the park to shoot off the tons of rockets that he brought with him.We made the best of the 12 days that Joe got to spend. I bet my chickens enjoyed the company that lived in the backyard too.I bet poor Joe went into culture shock coming from a nice metropolis to a rural farming community with no DSL. Anyhow Joe will be our lifelong family friend and maybe someday we can visit Ohio. I think we will stay in a motel so Joe doesn't get in trouble from the zoning commity. LOL
