Shia scholar Dr Syed Suqalain Naqvi injured in Sibi firing

SIBI May 31: President of Anjuman-e-Hussainia, Sibi, Dr Syed Suqalain Naqvi was injured by unidentified armed men in a firing incident at Sibi here on Saturday.

Dr Suqalain was on his way to his medical store at Johur Road Sibi in the morning when some unknown armed men sprayed bullets on him. He sustained serious injuries. The armed men fled from the scene leaving behind the injured in a critical condition.

Syed Suqalain was shifted to Bolan Medical Complex (BMC) Hospital Quetta for medical treatment. The condition of the injured is stated to be stable, hospital sources told The News.

Police have registered a case against unknown assailants and further investigation is under way.
