assailants gunned down a doctor outside his hospital on
Tuesday. Dr Syed Rashid Mehdi, a doctor at Faiz-e-Aam
Hospital was gunned down outside the hospital. Police
said he was on his way home when two people intercepted,
opened fire at him and fled. He died instantly. No
further information was available till the filing of this
report. However, sources claimed it could be a sectarian
killing. Police shifted the body to Abbasi Shaheed.
