PESHAWAR, Sept 16 2001: Declaring United States the biggest criminal in the world, Sipah-i-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) leaders here in a public meeting on Sunday said that the muslims of the country would not tolerate any assistance by the government to USA for attacking Afghanistan.
They cautioned the military regime not to cooperate with the USA against an Islamic state and warned that they would wage a war against America if it attacked Afghanistan.
Participants of the meeting, held in connection with Hazrat Abu Bakkar Siddique (RA) Day, took out an anti-America protest procession. They also set on fire an American flag.
Speaking on the occasion, the SSP leaders alleged that the terrorist acts in New York and Washington DC were a conspiracy to defame Islam and Muslims world. Now, they added, all the western powers and United States were bent upon destroying the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
They said that oppressive policies against muslims throughout the world were backed by the American government and whatever happened was a reaction to those policies.
The procession passed through different markets of the provincial capital chanting slogans against US imperialism and in favour of Afghanistan and Osama Bin Laden.
