DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The relatives of slain Khurshid Anwar advocate, Central General Secretary, Tehrik-e-Jafria Pakistan (TJP) have forgiven the accused in the murder case. Khurshid Anwar advocate, his daughter Ume Laila and the guard were shot and killed on September 28 last near Bannu Chungi while his wife was seriously injured.
Deceased's relatives had charged Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (Dera district) President Ch Islamuddin, General Secretary Saif-ur-Rehman Bangash and Sallar Abdul Razzaq with murder. Their case is sub judice now in the sessions court.
The relatives of Khurshid Anwar advocate including his father Illahi Bakhsh, brother Qamar Zaman and cousin Salim Alizai advocate forgave the accused on the assurance of SSP leaders including Khalifa Abdul Qayyum, Maulana Habibullah, Haji Noor Muhammad and Haji Salahuddin who gave oath on the Holy Quran that SSP and the accused were not involved in the murder case.
Deceased's father had registered the case against the three accused and next hearing was set for July 21. The SSP leaders gave oath in a mosque in Katchi Paind Khan near the house of the deceased. The father and other relatives of the deceased forgave the accused in the name of God.
The SSP central leader Khalifa Qayyum has already been acquitted in this murder case. He also gave oath on his own behalf in the mosque that he was not involved in the murder. The administration and police played a leading role in solving this case in an amicable manner with the cooperation of local elders. Now the relatives of the deceased would formally forgive the accused on the next hearing of the case scheduled for July 21.
