was a Sion man who use to look after the Billiard room, he met my mother Hilda
In England when he was serving in the Marines, they got married and moved to Sion , My mother always looked upon Sion Mills as her home. Above is a photo of me with my Mother and my Uncle and Aunt from England, Below is a photo taken in Sion just outside the Mill of my mother and Father, which was taken in the 60's. Though I live in Belfast now and I am happily married with three kids of my own, I still like to go and visit my old hometown and take an interest in it, and my wife has become as fond of Sion as my mother did, and we like visiting our friends there at least once a year if we can, I hope you enjoy my site of Sion mills. |
