Nyisa leads you outside the cozy little cabin, and you blink, snow-blind for a momment. You take a few steps out of the cabin, looking around curiously. You quite frankly weren't paying any attention on your way into the house. The woman seems to have a sort of yard here--there's a rough log fence a comfortable distance away from her home, with a neatly shoveled walk from the door to the gate. To your surprise, there seems to be something white & horned crouching about halfway between the two.

Your host doesn't make any mention of it, though, so you keep as silent on this as you did on the matter of her damaged voice. As you walk past, you peer a little closer, and can see that it's...a snow-dragon? You stop walking and stare, trying to imagine how it came to be in her lawn. You can't imagine the stern woman made it...
Ny notices that you are no longer moving forward, and glances to see what you're looking at. She aparently sees nothing strange about it, and when she asks what the problem is, you enquire about the dragon. Her mouth quirks in a half-smile. "We are hoping to have one of the Frost Dragon hatchlings-that's a half water, half ice mixed breed--available at Spectral Rhea choose to nest here. Seems one of the younglings felt creative and made himself a dragon." You are startled by the mention of little ones. You can't imagine this woman with children, and say so. Ny frowns at you. "Did you think I was a hermit? I do have friends, and a family of my own too, thank you."  She turns and walks toward the gate without anything further to say about it, and you feel yourself blush at your tactlessness. By the time you reach the gate, though, Nysia seems to have forgotten-or forgiven-your minor transgression and perches on one of the posts. "Alright. If you want to go back up the mountain, I'd say walk 'round the cottage--there's a bit of a shortcut there. If you're looking for the standing stones, then it's off the your right you go. Any where else you might like to wander will be tundra. Keep an eye on the sun, it'll go down quickly and you don't want to be without shelter overnight. Also watch your tracks, or make yourself markers, so you can find your way if you're lost. Pleasure meeting you." With that, the red head seems to be finished, so you smile and say your thanks again before continuing on your way.
