These are pictures taken at Independence Ave and Benton Blvd in Kansas City, Missouri. This is the Gateway to Scarritt-Renn District and host to thousands of illegal immigrants daily. The Hispanic church and other businesses welcome this sort of display. Loitering, blocked sidewalks, open pit BBQ on city property (6:00 a.m.), street vendors, and other obstacles decrease the quality of life in this area. Kansas City does absolutely nothing. The Police do not even respond to hardly anything, unless it's a shooting AND a death. |
