As I looked into her eyes
I saw a world that I once knew
and as she sat there crying her heart out to me
I wasn't sure what I could do.
I know the fears inside of her
and I know of the dreams that she has
she deserves so much better than this
and to see her breaking is making me sad.
You must find the beauty inside of you I say
and sometimes its so hard to do
but you must always remember this
no one is as important as you.
You cant expect someone to love you
if you don't even know what you are
and once you are able to do this
the rest of it isn't that hard.
The look she gave me was heartbreaking
with tears in her eyes looking so confused
and I turned myself away from the mirror
because I don't know what else to do..
