If I close my eyes real hard
I can make the pain go away
then it will go for a little while
but be back another day.
I can see what you can't
in my mind I know things you don't
I hope for my heaven to come to me
but deep inside I fear it wont.
I can look into your eyes
and see what is the truth
but yet my fear of pain makes me unsure
if the way you say you feel for me is true.
I need to have a drink
and dance alone in the rain
feel the water pour onto my face
and hope it takes away this pain.
I wake up and look around
same things everyday
I am sick of doing it over and over
really gotta get away.
