Cell of Skin
Solitary boy I have been,
living in a cell made of skin.
I'll give you everything I possess.
please tell me where is your happiness.
I'll to be the one to make you smile
if you show the way to your heart.
It's you I search for while I sleep,
It's you I yearn for when I weep.

What's come over me crashed
like a tidal wave,
dragged me out to sea,
All alone drowning in life,
I hope you've come to rescue me,
You floated in like a feather,
bringing nothing but sunny weather.
My savoir has arrived.

The sound of your voice is painted on my memories.
I imagine your laughter when I feel blue.
When I smile I see the light in you.
Always you are with me laughing or weeping,
Through day or nite,
whether I'm waking or I'm sleeping.
Escape is near from my
cell of skin.

Your courage was found by endurance
along your excruciating past.
Believe me when I say this,
the fears and mistrust will not last.
You do not have to bleed alone.
every wound you suffer I will suffer too.
I will stand by you, even when they cut to the bone.
Together we hold the key
to our cells of skin.
