David Dillinger Jefferis has been at various points in his life an actor, playwright, cabaret performer, disc jockey, clown and mime, among other adventures -- but he considers his true vocation to be that of a vagabond entertainer. A veteran of stage, radio, television, film, festivals?hell, he?s even made balloon animals in a bar. His most recent accomplishments include a 2004 outstanding achievement in broadcasting award from the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters, featured roles in The Midwestern Theater Troupe?s "The Golden Ass" (named one of Tulsa?s best plays of 2004 by the Tulsa World), an acclaimed turn as Uncle Jessie in "Just Good Ol' Boys", played The Storyteller in "Poona, the F***dog", and wrote directed and played a featured role in the world debut of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the Musical". In addition he's perfected his human blockhead routine (an ancient sideshow skill consisting of shoving objects up his nose). Coming soon--HIS INCREDIBLE FLEA CIRCUS!!!! Watch out World! |
