Here you can see a picture of my father, an honest and wonderful man many people I know now never had the chance to meet.

He died in an accident at home one night when I was seven years old. This page is dedicated in memory of him, that those who are close to me now might know a little more about this mysterious man I call Dad.

My dad was a farmer, continuing the family tradition and making his parents proud. I have some awesome memories of him and I tending fields, setting sprinklers, and getting lost in a corn field where he had to find me and drag me out. He taught me how to snap and whistle. He would always sing "Suzie Q" or "Michelle, My Bell" to me.

My dad loved the winter because it was his time off. He taught me to ski when I was three and our family would go skiing or snowmobiling every weekend we could.

His favorite meal was meat and potatoes. He loved simple things like corn on the cob, football, and being in nature. My mom says he liked to drive fast, and that he could drive backwards really well.

He wasn't a man of many words, and so what he did say carried a lot of meaning. He had strong hands and an intense spirit, and we used to fight over who had to sit next to him at the dinner table or in the car because whoever was closest was the one that got the discipline.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope this page helps you to know a little more about my dad. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to drop me a line.
