Unfortunatly it's a very famous town nowdays because of the last war. It was also famous because the first world war started there, but it's also famous because of the Winter Olympic games that took place in 1984, and as the crossroads of cultures. That's it. On the left is the famous view of the Sarajevo vally with the old parts of the town in front, and on the picture on the right is that same vally but from the other side, with the new parts of the town (Alipasino polje, where I lived for 5 years when I was a kid).
