what friends would say if they had the nerve..a converstation..
(not my favorite poem..)

(first person)i thank you for the many things you do..
(second person)they were nothing i do them all for you..
oh how you hold me when i cry
id do it for you every nite..
you cheer me up when i am down
ill pic you up when you when youre down to the ground
you fill me up and make me whole
its what friends do, so ive been told
when my tears fall quick you lift me up
i only hope what i do is enough
all i can do is give thanks for it all
its just what friends do out of friendship love.

i thank you for the many talks we have
i like to talk about good times or bad
youre always there giving a helping hand
id hold you up when you couldnt stand
you help me see when i am blind
it doesnt take much just a little time
i take you for granted every day
i do every thing out of love in every way
youre my friend and my soul mate
it was God's plan, its only fate
i want to repay you for all that u are
there is no need, for you i would travel a distance so far!

i thank you for being you to me
