The things I hold so dear to me,
a flower, smile, or brand new tree
the sun and moon, a simple tune
ribbons, bows, and a baby's toes
when the air is hot some cool clear
water, a new mother and her baby
daughter
a snow flake fallen in my hair,
a walk with nature
and it's sweet clear air,
a small day dream and
a newly wed kiss,
some things just arent worth the miss,
a five year old girl and her new puppy,
the name she gave it, something like fluffy,
Cartoons on each saturday morning,
the sun when it sets in the evening,
the stars that never fail to show,
one bright star always continues to glow,
the magic in your mothers eyes,
and how she can always calm your cries,
all the little miracles of this life,
and how we'd miss them without some strife,
a heartache can seem to last forever,
but wait around to love another,
have no fear, for JESUS is here,
God gave me the things i hold so dear...
