The brightest star i've ever seen
was so far away from me
i looked so hard but could not see
i felt that star glow inside of me

glowing bright for all to follow
shines inside keeping me free of sorrow
guiding light seeming too far to touch
so close to feel it all too much

leaving glimpses when i close my eyes
shinning brighter then the other stars
enveloping your heart lighting dark skies
giving strength to make it through your cries
