The priests at the monastery took him in and taught him to respect rhythm as though it were God, which is what he believes. He took the name Te, which derives from the Chinese word meaning virtue, especially virtue of small things. He began experimenting with music, particularly hip-hop during high school, but his love of music truly came to fruition when he met Mastermind in 1999. As one of the co-founders of Prolific and Gifted Records, Te hopes to spread their unique stylings to the masses.
Te is perhaps best known as a producer and dj whose work is not limited to the Singularity Project. He has also produced tracks for Jurassic 5, Blackalicious, and Common, though his work often goes uncredited.
He is currently at work scoring the film "Hamlet Vs. the Zombies", and is also an ethical advisor on the scientific experiment "The Effects of Agent Orange and Flame on a Kudzu Population".
