SMADD is a group
where you can come to talk about raising your child/ren alone; vent
your frustrations about the missing parent, share your hopes, joys,
and dreams; as well as your worries and thoughts about single parenting.
This is a support forum for anyone dealing with parenting alone.
Anyone who is or has been a single mom, or not had their child's
biological father participate, is welcome to join!

December
24, 2002...This past August and September, I was having a super-hard
time fighting the SD in court, and I was missing lots of work
for court dates and such. Every time I would come back to work,
I would usually bust out in tears when my boss asked me what
transpired. One day, he asked me if I had sought out any support
groups for single moms. I hadn't considered it, so I started
searching. You ladies are who I found.
Who
would've thought that a mere 3 months later, all of you would
have so much meaning in my life. You have filled a gap that
I didn't even know existed. You cheer me up when I'm down, and
make me laugh even harder when times are good.
What
better time than at Christmas to sincerely thank each and every
one of you...as you have been a Godsend. I truly thank you all
for making such a difference in my life. I can say that I have
become a better person for knowing you.
