AMIT'S TOUR DIARY 2002

AUGUST 9TH, 2002

Hey you guys

I know I am a little late with the previous report but it has been really hard to find a computer that works. So we have done Chicago and Cleveland by now. Both of 'em great shows. And both in theaters we know. Chicago was really fun you guys were really rockin' the house for us. And you were so nice afterwards. When you were by the bus, it was so nice everybody was patient and nobody was like going nuts and I hope everybody got what they wanted!

After a nice bus ride we went to Cleveland, that was funny. The show was whack my in-ear system died like 2 minutes before we were on, meaning I could hardly hear my self at all. That is why it took so long on stage. But we solved it by putting me in the front wedges that way I at least could hear myself and that was allright, but then during our clothes change I didn't tie my pants hard enough which sort of led to complications, I almost lost 'em and for 5 songs I was struggling to keep em up. I think most of you guys saw me... Thank god I wore black underwear... Now ladies and gentlemen I will wrap this up, short and sweet. And go out and lay by the pool

One love

Thank you for being so crazy guys. You don't know how good if feels to be able to travel around this country and there are people in every city that knows you.

Hey everyone!

So we have had 2 great shows (Southbend and Minneapolis). There was a lot of people on both of them and we had so much fun. Thank you for being so crazy guys. You don't know how good if feels to be able to travel around this country and there are people in every city that knows you.

Well, we went to Chicago and had a day off there. It was so nice, the weather reminded me of Sweden. So beautiful. The first day me, Dhani, Sara, our security guy and our sound guy spent on the pier, just walking around playing some minigolf just spending a nice calm day ourside. And then we went down to the range (all of us) and we all shot some balls. Believe it or not Dhani who has never played golf ever before is what I would call a natural. It was really fun!!

Yesterday we had half the day off and me and Stefan went to the original pancake house, oh my god the french crepes are just stuff to kill for SO good. And then in the afternoon we did a radio disney interview and after that we headed out to Marshal fields, I don't know what the mall was called but it was right by the airport, and had a signing. THAT was fun, oh my, you guys you were so loud. It was crazy. There must have been like 1500 - 2000 people there so we are really really excited bout the concert today! it will be great! We are all full of energy after the days off.

Oki guys now we are all going back to the pancake house to eat more of them crepes.

Love you all
Amit

AUGUST 3RD, 2002

It is the 3rd of August today, and we had the most amazing show last night you wont even believe it. I think there was round 8000 people in the audience...

Wazzup you guys?!

It is the 3rd of August today, and we had the most amazing show last night you wont even believe it. I think there was round 8000 people in the audience and everyone was crazy and nuts. It was soooooo cool. And Zac wazzup man! Thank you so much for all your support.

We knew there would be a lot of people at the DTE Energy Center but not that many. Me and Dhani had spent a pretty dull afternoon infront of the playstation in the back of the bus (we are doing really good now, it is all about fifa 2002) and we got into the dressingroom doing all our preparations and stuff, it was scary cause we havn't done the show for like two days now. But once we got out there and we saw people all the way in the back and how much noise you guys made it was like "oh yeah, this is my favourite part of it all". Everybody in the crew had so much fun, all of us on stage as well as the lightning guy and sound guy it ROCKED. I know I am sort of repeating my self but this is all very exciting! Right now I am in my bunk on the venue in Southbend, just woke up and have 3 hours till soundcheck, and then another show tonight!

Oh yeah by the way if you are interested the golf went well. We had a little adventure so to speak. We ended up at the Oakwood hills which is a PGA course where they are gonna play Ryders Cup next year, needless to say it is a private golfcourse, and we walked in there in sandals and shorts asking if we could play. Let's just say that they are probably still smiling when they think about the crazy Swedes. So basically we went to another course and played and we actually played decent golf for once.

Now, ladies and gentlemen, will I have to drag my butt out of the bunk and do some good (what that could be I have no clue but I will try I promise).

Oh and I almost forgot the coolest thing bout yesterday, we signed autographs, it was so cool to meet all of you, thank you for being so wonderful, we had a great time. I am sorry we couldn't sign to everybody but I think we signed somewhere between 1500 and 2000 autographs, and in my eyes that is acceptable. Ok now I am off to do something good (?).

Love all of you
Amit

AUGUST 1ST, 2002

We have been so busy with all the rehearsals, they have been fun but tiring, but now they're finally paying off! We are on tour, headlining, and seeing all of you guys everyday, it is so much fun you cant even believe it.

Hey everybody, I am sorry I have been bad at writing for some time now. But we have been so busy with all the rehearsals, they have been fun but tiring, but now they're finally paying off! We are on tour, headlining, and seeing all of you guys everyday! it is so much fun you cant even believe it. We have a really nice bus, and since everybody knows what they are doing this year we haven't even brought way to many things... ;) it is great fun every time you get home and realize that you had three times as many clothes as you really needed!!

Anyways the tour has been fun so far, Philly was such a cool venue, an old rock club in the old part of town, it was such a great vibe in there! Thank you guys. But is is still only our second show so it feels a little shaky every time we go on, it will hopefully become cooler and really sink in as we go along...

Right now we are in Detroit, after a long nice drive up here (where me and dhani spent most of our time infront of the playstation (fifa 2002 this year)) and a nice day off me and Stefan (security) are gonna hit the golf course tomorrow, which will be nice. The others will probably sleep and go to another mall or something, you know the usual...

I will talk to you in a couple of days

Take care
Love
Amit
