MARK'S REVIEW OF THE A*TEENS CONCERT IN CLEVELAND 8/8/02
We got there at 4:30 and the doors opened at 5:30. The concert started at 6:30. We went in and we saw a FYE booth and they said LMNT was signing at 6:00 and A*Teens were singing at 7:00. So we ran down to our seats and we had AWESOME seats! They were 7th row and they were almost center! So we ran back up to the autograph line and it was so long and I didn't think I would get the A*Teens autographs. But that line was for LMNT, they hadn't started the A*Teens line yet so me and my 2 friends decided to start it! We were first! So at like 6:30 (a half hour early) the A*Teens drove up on this golf cart and the place EXPLODED! And i was like 5 feet from them and I yelled 'MARIE!' and she looked over at me and smiled and she said 'hi!!!' and then sara was on the back and I yelled her name and she smiled and waved But while we were waiting in line, the FYE people said they would ONLY sign cd covers and i was so mad cause I didn't bring mine! So I bought one just in case . So while we were waiting, the ateens went and stood at this table, and I called Marie's name again and she looked over at my camera and posed for a pic! So when I got up there, Dhani was first and I asked him to sign my photo album he goes 'sure man! Where do you want me to sign it?' and I said 'on the inside cover!' and he opened my photo album and he went 'holy s*it! thats ALOT of pictures!' (i have about 400 in my photo album) and then marie looked over to see what he was talking about and she pointed to a pic on the first page and started mumbling something to Dhani in Swedish. I wish I knew what she was saying. Then Amit was next and I said 'hey amit!' and he was like 'hey! how are you?' and i said 'good' and sara was last and I handed her the comments from all the fans (most of you here sent in some! so they got it!) and she said 'thank you so much!' and i greeted them from thommy and guppy and amit was like 'ooh yea! thank you!' and after sara signed my photo album i said 'thanks alot sara!' and she was like 'your welcome!'. after i walked away from the table, we stood by the table and i yelled sara's name and she smiled for a pic. then all of a sudden marie just looked over at us and smiled and waved we didn't call her name or anything.
then we walked down to the concert and play was on. they were pretty good, but they were lip syncing. (sp?) then LMNT came on and they sang a few songs (girl crazy, hey juilet and another one) then jump 5 came on and they were AWESOME! they can DANCE!! they sang all i can do, spinning around, beauty and the beast, and god bless the USA. And after they sang, we were gonna go get their autographs and my 2 friends bought their cd, but I didn't. I got in line anyway so I could take pictures of them. Well, the line was to long but we saw Brittany walking down the line so my friends got her to sign the cd and I asked her if I could take a picture and I think its gonna be an awesome picture Then we saw Libby, and I got a pic of her
Then we went back to the concert and Baha Men were on. All they did was give me a headache.
Then there was a short intermission and then the A*TEENS came on!!! It was so awesome and they came out doing Upside Down. Everyone was singing and dancing. Then they did Slam, then Voulez-Vous which was really cool with all the lighting and dancing and stuff. And during Voulez-Vous, Marie came over to our side and I started screaming and jumping, and she waved at me Some other songs that sang (not in this order) were: Let You Heart Do All The Talking (Sara almost knocked over the mic in this song!), Can't Help Falling In Love, ...To The Music, Floorfiller,Hi and Goodbye, In The Blink Of An Eye, That's What/Slammin Kinda Love medly, Gimmie GImmie Gimmie/Mamma Mia medly, and Dancing Queen.
I should get my pics back soon, and I hope they came out good! Omg, that was the best day of my life!!!
