I USA.

Frst i september slpps Pop til you drop i Sverige.

A-Teens on their own tour

Now they're no longer foreband for others

After N'Sync, Britney Spears and Aaron Carter, the A-Teens now stand on their own.

With their new record and 3 forebands the swedish 4tette(?) is loading up for a 45 gig tour all over North America. Leading up to the premeir, Aftonbladet met the stars at a movie shoot in Hollywood.
-As always it's a bit nervous. This time more then ever. Especially since we're the main/lead band, says Amit Paul.
Together with his band buddies Dhani, Marie and Sara they are going to spend the upcoming 4 months in the USA.
The new album "Pop til you drop" was realeased in North America the day before yesterday and is now awaiting a massive launch before the premire tour in Chicago on the 14th of july.

Then the world awaits.
-Baha Men, Jump 5 and LMNT is our forebands *opening acts*, Marie says. As part of the launch the group was recording their video for the single "Floorfiller" at the club The Loft in the heart of Hollywood just this last monday.
From 6 in the morning until 10 at night the director, Sanaa Hamari, who previously worked with Mariah Carey and Mystical, worked with the A-Teens and at the same time instructing a group of 40+ standins and breakdancers.
The 4 swedish pop stars took the chaos with ease.
After 3 albums they are used to it.
And they know that this is just the begining.
The USA launch is followd by Europe and then the rest of the world.
Not until september the "Pop until you drop" is released in Sweden.

No vacation.
-We have to do that to put in the time we need here, says Anders Johansson at Stockholm Records, who is at location in Hollywood and supervising the video shoot.
For the A-Teens it means clipcards(?) on the plane rides and work non-stop until April next year.
There by their private life, family and other interest all will come second.
-It's ok, we are prepared for this, says Sara.
With the new album the A-Teens takes another step forward. After their first albums ABBA songs and the second albums special written songs they have now been involved in writing 4 of the songs on "Pop til you drop".
-We are becoming more and more involved each time. You can see on other artist how good it gets when they have full control - like Prince, says Amit.
If the new album goes well, like the record company is hoping, it's not impossible that the group is rewarded by getting to make all the desicions them selves.
Or as Dhani Lennevald puts it:
-Today USA - tomorrow the world.
