…and found part 5

part 4

Abby goes in to check on Elizabeth, into the bathroom to swallow a handful of pills, and finally downstairs to Tom.

"How is she?" Tom asks as he takes the dinner from the oven.

"No change. What are we going to do with her?"

"You mean besides building an Ivory tower?" he says.

"Wouldn't fit the style of the house."

"That and we'd have to build one for Nancy too." he states.

"Maybe I should take Nancy with me, too? Couldn't hurt to get her out of town for a while, could it, after she's off bed rest."

Tom shrugs. "Thats up to her and you. But what about Elizabeth's tutoring?"

"I've already started working with her. I can continue while we're gone, and then she can start with the regular tutor or maybe even go back to school."

"That would be good. Has your Father called lately?"

Abby shakes her head. "I've spoken to my mom a few times, but Dad..." she shrugs.

"HE hasn't talked to you?"

"You said you wanted to talk to him. If I'd spoken to him, wouldn't I have let you know?"

"Abby, I just asked. After all you are his princess. I just think its strange he hasn't spoken to you since well..you know."

"His *princess*?"

"Ok." he says after seeing the look on Abby's face. "May..maybe not his princess, but his little girl as he reminded me the night before our wedding."

"Poor Tom. Did he frighten you?" Abby teases.

"He frightened me almost to a monastary."

"You, in a monastery," Abby laughs. "You wouldn't last a week."

Tom cant help but smile. "I know, especially since I'd be thinking of you the whole time."

"Don't go tempting me. Please."

"Sorry."

"Guess this idea of going to my parents will be good. It'll keep us out of harm's way. And give me a chance to talk to my father."

Tom nods.

Soon Elizabeth is in the kitchen. "Do we have any Tylenol left?"

"There's some in our bathroom." Tom says. "Honey are you OK?"

"I feel like my head is coming off."  she says.

"Maybe aspirin would be better for you," Abby says, not wanting anyone to know how few Tylenol are left.

"Whatever, where are they?"

"Sit down, I'll go get them."

"Ok." she says.

Abby goes upstairs, gets the aspirin, and makes a mental note to get more Tylenol.

Tommy is coming out of his room as he sees Abby coming out of her room. "Elizabeth OK?"

Abby nods. "Just a bump and a headache. Hey, do you think you could run out to the drug store and get some more Tylenol and aspirin?"

"Tonight?"

Abby looks at her watch. "I guess not. Never mind, I'll go in the morning."

~Does she not remember, I dont have my license yet?~ Tommy thinks. "I can take my bike in the morning."

~He could have taken his bike tonight, too.~ "No, really, it's OK. I'll go on my way to the hospital tomorrow."

Tommy sighs. "No, I'll go tonight.": he says walking down the stairs.

Abby follows him down. "You'll need money," she reminds him.

"I have some, you can pay me later."

"OK, but make sure I do, OK?"

Tommy nods and leaves the house.

Abby takes the aspirin to Elizabeth.

"Thanks." she says.

"I sent Tommy to get more," Abby tells Tom.

"But they're was plenty in the medicine cabinet earlier."

"Better safe than sorry."

Tom looks at Elizabeth and realizes he doesnt want to have this conversation
here. "I suppose..." he says."I have some work to do in the study."

"OK. I'll call you when dinner's ready."

Tom nods.

Tommy goes to the corner market to pick up some aspirin and tylenol.

"Hey Bradford." a classmate spots him. "havent seen you in school lately."

"I've been working." Tommy says.

"But your'e not even 16 yet, who'd hire you/'

"It's called fake ID's Marshall." Tommy says.

Marshall laughs. "Where are you working?"

"A music store at the mall."

"Arent you afraid that one of your many siblings or parents will catch you?"

"My Parents? In a music Store? Yeah right. Besides they are too busy with their own problems to even notice." Tommy smiles. "As for the others, we dont squeal on each other, its a unwritten Bradford law."

"But what about Gillette? They are going to notice you arent in school."

"I have that covered too Marshall, I had my *Parents* write a note that I was attending school in Pasadena and staying with my grandparents. I even got them to give me the school reports  instead of them transfering down there."

"Bradford you are a genius." Marshall states. "You ought to write a book."

"Yeah, well I better get home with these." he says.

"Good luck Man." Marshall says. "See ya around."

Tommy nods and pays for his purchases and goes home.

"Thanks," Abby says when he gives her the bottles. She opens the Tylenol and takes a few. "Just take the money for it from my purse, OK?"

"Abby...The bottle says to only take two at a time."

"Oh," Abby says, all innocence, "did I take more? I didn't notice."

"Careful huh?" Tommy says and leaves.

Almost an hour later Abby goes to call Tom to dinner.

Tom comes out of the study yawning.

"Would you rather I brought a tray up to our room?" Abby offers.

"No, I can eat down here."

"If you're sure."

"I'll be fine, I'll hurry and eat and we can go back to bed."

"You don't have to hurry."

"Thanks for keeping dinner for me."

"How was Nancy?"

"Better, but lonely."

"I'll try to go see her in the morning."

"I'm sure she'd like that. I told her I'd stop by too."

"We could go together. I'll take my car so you can go straight to the office."

Tom nods. "Sounds good."

"OK." Abby sits down to wait while Tom eats.

Tom eats his dinner and puts the dishes in the sink.

"Let's go to bed," Abby yawns.

Tom nods and walks with her up the stairs turning off the lights on the way.

Tommy gets up the next morning in the pretense of getting ready for school. He grabs some breakfast and his books and leaves, He puts his books in Nicholas playhouse like he has been doing the past couple of weeks and bikes off to work.

After Tommy leaves Elizabeth wakes up with a splitting headache but is in too much pain to get out of bed to get her medication. She groans and covers her head with the covers.

Abby wakes up but tries to pretend she hasn't.

Tom gets up and sighs.

Abby rolls over. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, just another day." he says as he gets on his robe. "Did you sleep well?"

"Did you?"

"No..."

"I'll go make you some coffee."

"Thanks, I'll go shower."

"OK." Abby puts on her robe and heads downstairs.

Nicholas is eating Cocoa puffs.

"Good morning."

"Hi." nicholas says.

"You're switching from Happy Zappies?"

"Dad forgot to buy them."

"I'll get you some later today."

Mary walks in and gets a cup of coffee and after taking a drink of it manages her first words of the morning.  "Is that the kind that turns your milk chocalaty?"

Nicholas nods.

Mary makes herself a bowl.  David walks in with bagels.  "I thought I'd provide breakfast this morning." He says to Abby, Nicholas, and Mary.  "And I'm a little too late."

Nicholas laughs.

"That you are big brother." Mary tells him.

David takes out one of the bagels and cuts it open so he can butter it.

"Thanks."

~If she doesn't want bagels she can say so she doesn't have to ignore me.~  David thinks about Abby while he eats his bagel.

Abby prepares coffee for Tom. "I'll be right back down," she says.

"Ok," Mary says.

Abby takes the coffee up to Tom. Tom is getting dressed when Abby comes in. "You are a life saver."

"You mean I'm small, sweet, and only have 5 calories?"

Tom laughs. "That and you have that cup in your hand."

"Ah. I always knew you married me for my cooking."

"I think that was on my top ten list." he jokes.

"More like top three."

"Well what was your list?"

"Oh, I don't think you want to know," Abby teases.

"I'm curious, was it good looks?" he asks jokingly.

"Define 'good looks'."

"Tall dark and handsome I'm not.:"

"No, but you sure clean up nice."

"Gee, Thanks." he says "Hows Elizbeth this morning?"

"I haven't checked on her yet. David's downstairs with bagels if you want breakfast."

"I was hoping we could go out to breakfast before we went and saw Nancy."

Abby smiles. "I'd like that. Oh, and by the way--one out of three isn't bad."

"One out of three?"

"You're not tall or dark."

Tom kisses her. "Thank you."

"Boy, I'm really behind on this compliment business."

"I thought you knew already." He says.

"No more than you do."

Tom sighs. "Sorry, I can be so dense sometimes."

"Dense, but cute."

"You are so beautiful."

"You're getting warmer," Abby smiles, putting her arms around him.

"Just warmer? Ok, you tell me what I can say that would be hot?"

Abby whispers something into his ear.

Tom blushes then whispers something back in her ear.

Abby kisses him. "When I get back from Pasadena, mister..."

"It's a date."

"Good."

"We better get ready."

"Yeah." Abby gathers her clothing and gets dressed.

"Abby...I love you."

She turns around and smiles at him. "I love you, too."

Tom smiles.

Elizabeth groans in her room.

Joannie, who is passing by, stops to investigate.

"Joannie?"

"You OK, Liz?"

"Not really, my head is killing me." shes says tears coming down her face.

"Want me to get you some aspirin and something to drink?"

Elizabeth nods. "Please."

Joannie leaves and soon comes back. "Here you go. And there are bagels downstairs for breakfast if you want me to bring some up."

Elizabeth nods. "Thanks Joannie."

"But first take your aspirin."

She swallows the aspirin.

"Good girl. Now what do you want on your bagel?"

"Cream Cheese." she replies. "Would it be too much trouble for some Coffee?"

"Of course not. If I want to be an actress, I have to practice my waitressing."

Elizabeth starts to laugh but it is painful. "Don't make me laugh."

"The story of my life. No one wants comedy anymore."

"Huh? Job down at the Childrens home getting you down?"

"A little. It makes me think of what could have happened."

"What do you mean?"

"If Dad had really had a heart attack and we'd have lost him."

Elizabeth nods. "I guess we sometimes forget how lucky we are."

"Yep. I think I'll keep volunteering at Charles Street even after I finish the assignment."

"That's great."

"When you're felling better you could come with me."

"Thanks Joannie, except for going to Pasadena, I'm not going anywhere."

"No will hassle you down at Charles Street. As far as they're concerned you're just some nice woman with long hair."

"Can I take a rain check?"

"Sure. But think about it, OK?"

Elizabeth nods. ~Not in this lifetime, I'm not going anywhere.~

"Good. I'll go get your breakfast now."

"Thanks"

Joannie heads downstairs.

With the nurses help Nancy finally gets that shower that she had wanted the day before.  After she gets dressed and back into bed she channel surfs for awhile and then sighs in frustration.  ~How am I going to make it for two weeks this is so boring!~

At that point a guy walks in with scrubs and a surgical mask.  ~How am I going to tell her?  Will she even believe it's me?~

Nancy watches him for awhile. "Do you always come into patients rooms to gawk at them?"

He's about to say something but makes a fast exit instead.

"Wierd." Nancy considers calling the nurse but decides at the last minute not to.

A little while later on one of the stairwells.  The guy removes his surgical mask and curses himself for walking in there.  ~There's no way she'll believe it's me.  Not after that con man pulled that stunt months ago.~ The man thinks back to the newspaper story that had jogged his
first memory and finally led to his complete recovery from amnesia two weeks ago.  Ever since he had been making his way back home.  He decides to head back home and finds his parents waiting for him.

"Did you see her?"  His mom asks.

"Yes, but I didn't tell her who I was." He answers.  "Any news about the funeral director?"

His father shakes his head. "He won't admit to who was really buried instead of you."

"Yeah well maybe I'll go down there and make him admit it." He says in a rage, angry at the guy for making his family, friends, and girlfriend think he was dead all this time.

"Honey calm down, the important thing is that your back now." His mother hugs him and gets him settled down. "Now why didn't you talk to her?"

"I couldn't, what if I upset her, what if she doesn't believe it's really me and not a con man again."

"That was different,  Noah she'll know it's you." His father says.

::fade out::

A little while later a police officer comes to tell them that the funeral director is in jail and that they exhumed the coffin and were now in the process of trying to identify the body they found in it.

"I guess you can let the world know now that he's alive."  The officer says.

"No," Noah shakes his head.  "She'll know first."  He heads back to the hospital again with scrubs and a surgical mask.

"If you don't remove the mask.  I'm getting security." Nancy says.

He's about to speak but is at a loss for words again.

She glances into his eyes and does a double take.  ~No it can't be.~  She shakes her head.

He slowly removes the mask.

"Look buddy I don't know who you are but...." Nancy says starting to get angry thinking it's an imposter again.

"Nancy it's me, I promise you."

"No, you're lying.  I lost you, I grieved for you!!"  She starts crying.

He goes to her and holds her careful not to aggravate her ribs.  "It's me." He kisses her to prove it.

She's in shock for several moments when finally, "Noah?" she whispers.

"I can explain everything I swear." He says.

"That can wait. Just let me hug you for now."  She says.  They stay like that for awhile, hugging, kissing.  With Noah being careful about her ribs.  An hour or so later after he's told her everything about the amnesia and the Criminal Funeral director.  "Tell me I'm not going to wake up and this all had just been a dream."

"Hey you're wide awake I promise you." He says.  "I love you."

"I love you too."  They kiss as a family member walks in.

Tom walks in and is shocked. "Noah?'

"Hi Mr. Bradford." He says.

"Hi." he says unbelieving what he sees.

Nancy laughs.  "It's a long story Dad."

"But how?'

"Have a seat and we'll tell you all about it."  She says not wanting to take her eyes off of Noah.

Tom sits down.

They tell him the whole story.

"Right now they're trying to find out who was buried instead of me." Noah ends with.

"Thats amazing."

"It's more than amazing, it's a miracle." Nancy says.

"Thats for sure." Tom says. "Look, I'll leave you two alone, I'm sure you have alot to talk about."

"I don't want to cut your visit with Nancy short. I'm not planning on going home any time soon." Noah says.

"That's ok, I was just taking a little break. I have to get back to the office." Tom says. He kisses Nancy and shakes Noah's hand. "I'll see you two later."

"See you later." Noah says.

"Drive Careful Dad." Nancy says.

Tom waves and leaves the room. ~Unbelieveable.~ He waits for Abby before she
enters the room.

Abby comes out of the restroom, hoping her latest dose takes hold soon.
"Didn't you go in to see Nancy?"

Tom nods still in shock.

"Hey, are you OK? Is Nancy OK?"

"Nancy's fine, never been better." Tom says. "It's Noah, he's back."

"That's not funny."

"Who's laughing?" Tom says. "Take a look for yourself."

Abby takes a look through the doorway. "But he was buried."

Tom tells her what Noah and Nancy told him. "Quite remarkable.'

"Really," Abby says, shaken.

"It really makes you think doesn't it."

Abby nods. "Nancy's busy. Could we just go, please?"

Tom looks at her supiciously but relents. "Sure, where do you want to go?"

"I don't know. Maybe I should just go home..." Abby hesitates.

"It's a nice day, why don't we go to the park?" Tom says not wanting to be alone.

"If you don't have to go into the office, sure."

"Who could work with that kind of news?"

"I know what you mean."

"Lets go.'

Abby follows him out.

Tom drives to the park not saying a word.

Abby is equally silent while he drives, then parks.

Tom takes her hand.

Abby doesn't respond, staring out at the scenery instead.

"A penny for your thoughts." Tom says.

"I was thinking about Noah."

"What about Noah?"

"That he's not really dead. Nancy saw him dead. He was buried. But he's here."

Tom nods. "I know what you mean."

Abby nods, though she's not sure he really does.

"Are you thinking about Frank?" Tom asks.

"Yes," Abby admits. "I know it's silly, but..."

"It's not silly at all." he says. "Believe me I do understand."

"Tell me what you're thinking."

"What would happen if Joan or Frank came back alive. What would we do?"

"Frank was hurt pretty bad. In the camp, or when he was shot down--I don't know. Probably both. And then it took time to get him back here. Everyone told me it wouldn't be good to identify the body; my father went instead," Abby tells him.

Tom squeezes her hand. "I'm sorry."

"I never doubted what my father saw. But if Noah's not dead...."

Tom nods. "Believe me if he wasnt dead, he'd be here with you."

"I know, I know. If he came back from Vietnam--there are still men missing. If he didn't have amnesia like Noah did. If..."

"That's alot of what ifs."

"You're right. Frank's gone, and so is Joan. It's just Noah who's come back."

"Makes you a little envious doesnt it."

"What? No, Tom--I have you," Abby smiles at him. "Just a little unsettled is all."

"I know, I didnt mean it that way."

Abby takes him arm and leans her head against his shoulder. "And I'm very glad I do have you."

"Sweetheart, the feeling is mutual. I shudder the thought if you hadn't walked into my life when you did."

"Even with all the problems and disappointments?"

"Life is full of disappointments and problems." Tom states.

"That's a pretty sad philosophy."

"But having someone to love and share life with makes it so much easier."

Abby kisses him. "I ought to head home. Elizabeth is waiting for me."

"Yeah and I've got work to do?" Tom says.

"OK, you were right before," Abby sighs.

"About?"

"I do wish we were back on that cruise ship."

Tom nods.

"I'll see you tonight then."

"I'll stop by at Nancy before coming home."

"And if he's still there?"

"Now that the shocks worn off a bit, I'll talk to him."

"I'm glad the shock's worn off for one of us."

Tom kisses her and then starts the car.

When they get back to where Abby's car is parked she holds his hand for a moment and then gets out of the car.

"I love you." Tom says.

"Love you, too. See you later."

Tom nods and drives off.

Abby considers calling a cab, but realizes that Tom might see her car when he comes back later. She gets in and starts the engine but doesn't drive off just yet.

Meanwhile at the police station the Chief of Police is conversing with the coroner to find out how the police officers from that night months ago and the coroner himself thought Noah was dead when in fact he wasn't.

"Since there was no autopsy it is possible." The coroner says ready to lie and not say that he was in cahoots with the officer who pronounced Noah dead and the funeral director.

"Oh really, how is that?" He inquires and when he gets the explanation he doesn't believe a word of it but pretends he does.  After the coroner leaves he calls some detectives in and has an investigation started.

"When did you get back?" Nancy asks Noah.

"Yesterday, I would've been by sooner but....."

"But what?"

"You were a day out of surgery and I was worried about your heart." He says.

"My heart is just fine now." She assures him.  They continue to talk.  She tells him about moving back home, about Rick being killed in an escape attempt.  About Abby's book.

"Did you see anyone else while I was gone?" He asks.

"Almost, pretty recently, but it didn't work out." She tells him about her professor.

"Pretty recently?  How long did it take you?"  He asks.

"Noah let's not go there ok."

"But I didn't want you to stop dating if you thought...."

She stops him.  "All of that doesn't matter now ok."

He smiles, "ok."  He kisses her again.

"Does Ellen know yet?  She's really missed you."  Nancy says.

"I've missed her too, but I couldn't tell her before coming to see you." He says.

She picks up the phone to call her.

"Nancy what are you doing?"

"Like you said you're not going anywhere anytime soon.  I think she  should come over."  She dials Ellen's number.

Ellen answers the phone. "Nancy! I'm glad to hear from you. Are you well enough that you're allowed non-family visitors?"

Nancy glances at Noah.  "Yes you can say that, can you come over?"

"Sure. You want me to bring something? A cake with a file?"

Nancy laughs.  "Just bring yourself."

"OK. I'll be there as soon as my morning class lets out."

"Ok, I'll see ya then."

"See you."

Unbeknowst to Tommy, when a student transfer to another school, Mr. Gillette makes its his policy to make a courtesy call to the Principal at the new school. When she doesnt have Tommy's file, she calls the Mitchell's.

"How can I help you, "Mrs. Porter?" Katherine asks.

"Hello Mrs Mitchell, we were wondering when we would be expecting Tommy at school."

"Tommy?" Katherine asks, confused. "You mean Tommy Bradford? He's up in Sacramento. Why would you be expecting him at your school?"

"It seems his parents had him transfered, is their a problem?"

"I'm not sure," Katherine hesitates. "May I take your number and call you back later?"

Mrs. Porter leaves her number.

Katherine thanks her, hangs up, and calls Sacramento.

"Hello?" Nicholas says.

"Hi, Nicholas. It's Grandma Katherine."

"Hi Grandma." Nicholas says.

"How are you, dear?"

 "Fine  Grandma, how are you?"

"OK. Is your father home?"

"No, but Abby is."

"Then let me speak to her."

"Abby, Phone!" Nicholas replies.

Abby come over, takes the phone from Nicholas. "Thanks. Who is it?"

"I'll be in my playhouse." Nicholas replies.

~Strange boy~ "OK." She speaks into the phone, still not knowing who it is. "Hello?"

"Hi Dear." Katherine says.

"Hi, Mom. What's up?" Abby asks. ~Why didn't Nicholas tell me it was you calling?~

"Hi Dear, Are you getting rid of one of your kids?"

"Excuse me?" Abby says, thinking that's a pretty insensitive thing to ask a woman who's just had a miscarriage.

"Oh honey, I'm sorry." ~What a dumb thing to ask.~  "I'm just in shock with a phone call i just received." She tells her about the call.

"Did she say where she got the idea that Tommy was moving to Pasadena of all places?"

"A Mr. Gillette? called her."

"I see. I think I'd better have a little talk with Tommy."

"You know anyone of the kids are welcome here, I was just taken off-guard." Katherine states.

Meanwhile Nicholas comes in with Tommy's books bewildered why they are in his playhouse.

"Speaking of that, I was thinking of coming down for a week or two with Elizabeth, once Nancy's better." Abby covers the phone. "What are those, Nicholas?"

"Oh honey, that would be fabulous." Katherine beams

"They look like Tommy's books and I found this address in it. "The Rock Shop."

"OK, Mom. I'll call you late about it, after I've found out what's going on with Tommy."

"Bye Dear." Katherine says ~Poor Tommy.~ Katherine thinks.

"The Rock Shop? What's that, a geology store?" Abby asks Nicholas.

"No, some of the kids at school talk about it. It's one of the hottest music stores in Sacramento."

"Figures." After she finishes speaking to her mom Abby starts to get ready to invade the music shop, but her body tells her that would be a lousy idea. Instead she calls the shop and asks to speak to Tommy Bradford.

A man answers."I'm sorry he's with a customer right now, may I help you?"

"No, that's all right. I'll try back later."

"Ok." he says and hangs up.

Abby tries to think of another approach, can't, and checks the time. ~Still an hour until I have to work with Elizabeth.~ She makes a phone call and then goes out back. "Nicholas!"

"Yeah?" he says coming out of his playhouse.

"I've got to go out for a little. I'll be back in about an hour, OK?"

"Can I come with you?"

"No, I'm sorry. Channing is picking me up. We have some business things to discuss."

"Oh..." he sadly.

"How about we go somewhere tomorrow? The ice cream parlor?"

"Sure."

"OK." A car horn honks. "I'll be back soon."

"OK, bye." Nicholas says.

Abby goes inside, gets her stuff, and goes out to meet the car.

Ellen knocks at Nancy's door.

"Come in!!"

"Hey, Nancy...."

"Hey Ellen, now I don't quite know how to prepare you for this."

"You're running away from home," Ellen jokes.

"No not even close."  She says.

"Hi Ellen." Noah says.

"What the hell is this?" Ellen asks Nancy.

"I know it's a shock, but it's really him."

"That's what you thought last time, too."

"Until I kissed the imposter, and then I knew.  This is definetly Noah."

"Um, can I speak to Nancy--alone?" Ellen asks Noah.

"Cynical as always I see." Noah says trying to convince her and then walks out of the room to give the women their privacy.

"Are you crazy?" Ellen shrieks when she and Nancy are alone.

"No I'm not crazy, it is him."

"And you know this because he's a good kisser?"

"Among other things." Nancy says wishing she'd believe her.

"What other things?"

"The way he talks, the way he looks at me."  She answers and also wonders why Abby hasn't shown up like she said she would.

"He's not the first guy to say he's Noah."

"I know he's not, look Ellen I've run out of reasons why I know it's Noah.  There's nothing else I can tell you."

"Do your parents know about this?"

"My Dad does."

"And he's buying it this time?"

"Yes."

"Freaky."

Nancy tries to keep her temper in check.  "I guess you're not going to believe me no matter what I say are you?"

"I just don't want you getting hurt."

"I'm not going to get hurt, because it is Noah."

"OK," Ellen says, still doubtful.

"Can he come back in now?"

"It's your room."

"Noah!!"

He comes back in.  "Is everything all right?"  He asks.

"Fine," Ellen says.

"No it's not." Noah says.

"Sure it is," Ellen says, pasting on a smile for Nancy's sake.

~Yeah right.~ Noah thinks to himself and when it comes time for Ellen to be getting home.  "I'll walk you out." He offers.

"Thanks," Ellen says, wanting to give Nancy time alone to think about this guy.

On the way out.  "You still don't believe it's me do you?"

"Should I?"

"Do you still have that book?"  He asks her.

"Which book?"

He mentions the name of a book that she had found several months ago that only he and she know about.

"What are you, some kind of stalker?" Ellen says, still being cautious.

"No, I.... oh forget it." He says completely frustrated.  "Damn that imposter."

"Yep. And if you're another imposter, just go away before you hurt Nancy."

"I'm not going anywhere, and I'm not going to hurt her, not when I'm finally back with her again."

Ellen catches a glimpse of his left hand where there's a scar, the same scar she's always seen on Noah's hand.

"Where did you get that?" she says, pointing to his hand.

"I got it dirtbiking a few years ago." He answers.

"How did you know that?"

"I was there when it happened, believe me I remember how much it hurt."

"Noah?"

He smiles, "Ellen?"

"Explain how it's you."

"Where shall I start?"

"At the beginning."

"Ok I was born in.... Just kidding."  He explains to her about the amnesia, the funeral director, and his making it back home.

Ellen hugs him.

Noah hugs her back

"People are staring."

"Then we should suggest that they get a camera."

She smiles. "It's good to have you back."

"Thank you it's good to be back, how have you been?"

"OK. Better now. Have you been to your house?"

"Yes, it was very emotional."

"With your parents?" Ellen jokes. "I never would have guessed."

Noah laughs.

"So now what?"

"I have to get back to Nancy, what about you?"

"I have a few people I need to talk to," Ellen smiles.

"Ok, I'll see you later then?"

"You can bet on it."

He smiles, gives her another hug, and returns to Nancy.
