SING is the station for you if you want to hear something other than just "Sugar & Spice" from your 60's and 70's radio! Sure, we play the big hits from the big groups of the era, but we also play album tracks, 'B' Sides and any other oddities we uncover from big and small artists. We guarantee that you won't like everything that we play. This station is a lucky dip (or unlucky dip!) depending on when you tune in, but one thing we do guarantee is that you'll hear something different every time you visit. We have more than the 500 tested songs that the big boys play, in fact at any given time we have over 3000 and we keep adding new tracks every week. There's nothing wrong with what corporate radio is doing as they have to make it pay....thankfully we don't, so have fun! |

Artists you'll hear this week on SING include: The Beatles, Beach Boys, Herman's Hermits, Rolling Stones, Byrds, 10CC, Doobie Bros, Billy Idol, Elton, Lulu, Lennon, Roxy Music, Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Eurythmics, Carpenters, Bryan Adams, Abba, Cream, Elvis, Hollies, Hendrix, Mamas & Papas, Jacksons, Righteous Brothers, Bowie and much much more!! |

This is our first bash at running a 24/7 station on
Live 365. Any feedback, encouragement or appreciation would be
gratefully received. As most Live 365 broadcasters will know, you have
to put a considerable amount of spare time into one of these stations
to make it REALLY work. And that's what we want to do :-) We'd love to
hear from you. Let us know if the SING experience is good for you and
how we can make it even better. It's early days at SING and we'd like
you to have a say in how it develops in the future. At the moment
we're live Monday to Friday and pre-recorded at the weekend. If
listenership picks up on Saturday & Sunday, we'll go live 7 days a
week. Vote with your presets and ears and above all, enjoy SING!
It costs money for SING to stay on the air and we can't broadcast our own advertisements to fund the station as this is against Live 365's rules. If you want us to stay on the air, you can help us by taking out a preferred membership at Live 365 and following this link. This means you get to hear ALL Live 365 stations commercial free and gain access to stations that are 'sold out' at ANY time. Listen Ad-Free

SING Backstage Tour! |
This is the main SING studio. As most of our output is music programming, the majority of the station's output is broadcast from Harold the workhorse in the less exciting looking racks room. This studio is mainly used for producing liners, promos and sweepers for the SING service. For the technically inclined, the studio is equipped with two PCs, the one on the right is fully equipped for automated playout using the superb OTSDJ software and the one on the left is used for ISDN audio feeds of voiceovers and other outside studio sources. There are two Denon CD decks, a Behringer Composer and Denoiser. The desk is a D&R Airmate and the mic is an AKG C3000. The studio sound is monitored on a pair of Tannoy monitor speakers driven by an amp under the mixing desk. |

The Racks Room is networked with the main studio so that updates to the service audio can generally be undertaken without having to take the station off air. |
