Ilvaite crystallizes in the form of masses, columnar structures, and thick prismatic crystals. The color ranges from grey to black. Ilvaite promotes patience and elevates the transfer of imformation from the higher-self regarding perseverance. It is an excellent stone for grounding and centering. Ilvaite can be used in the treatment of fevers, diarrhea, hemorrhaging, and ulcerations. It has been used in the treatment of hepatitis, and is useful as a pergative and vermifuge when used as an elixir.
